I have had the worst dinner experience at browns socialhouse albany. I called in the day before asking for reservations for a Saturday at 6pm and the girl on the phone told me that they already all booked up for reservations so we would need to come at 5pm to be on the waiting list in order to get a table for 13 people. The next day comes along and i called at 445 pm just to make sure we can get a table for 6pm if we come in and wait at 5pm. We then had someone to come in at 5pm to wait for a table and they have seated us at the most deep freezing in their whole restaurant. The patio, with only 4 heaters which didnāt even warm ANYONE that was seated in there. We then ask if we could be moved inside to the dinning area instead but the manager said i quote ā this crappy building isnāt designed to set up for big parties, if you guys donāt like it you can stay or leave.ā Not only did we talk to one manager, we also talked to another one and all they did was smile and nod and did not take any action to satisfy our presence there. The only reason we stayed is because there was no other restaurant location around us that could take 13 people last minute. The area we sat in the patio was SO cold in the -16 weather it felt like we were sitting outside waiting for our food. Not only did it take up to almost 2 hours for our food to come out, all the food that came out was wrong, cold and hard. One of the girls even almost wanted to go to McDonalds across the parking lot to get food. Even our alcoholic beverage didnāt have any alcohol in it. The waitress we had barley check up on us and never followed up and didnāt even bother to tell us if our food is going to come out later then expected. Even though she gave us the wrong order she replaced it with another wrong order. We order the quinoa kale salad with chicken and no almonds, it came out with almonds and when i told the server it was wrong she took the plate of salad back and came back with same chicken that was on the plate but the almonds scooped off and not only that there was only 4 small slices of chicken n it was the same one that was on the salad before on a separate plate. I can not express enough how bad of this experience was for my team and I. We were really looking forward to a good service and happy time for our late xmas party. By the end of the night when we wanted our bill not only did it take extra 45 mins to get our bill, out waitress did not even ask if anyone wanted dessert or coffee or tea. I will be expressing my dissatisfaction to every person I know because this is not an acceptable customer service to be used...

I wanted to have a take out but the attendant had said you can seat if you want. I ordered my food and asked for takeout incase of left over. While waiting for my food, I observed a guy in a light blue shirt go by me and sort of look over his shoulder at me and thought nothing of it. Fast forward my food comes and I decided i will eat my French fries hot in the restaurant. Into my 2nd bite the guy in the blue shirt i had seen earlier approached me, mean mugging and already irritated and said to me why did we have to make your order takeout if you were going to eat in? His tone was unacceptable and there were other patrons nearby and it seemed like his intent was to cause embarrassment He then said I let you sit with your outside drink because I was told you are leaving. He was about to continue ranting when i said thats fine i can leave as I could see he was trying to provoke me so he could have the pleasure of throwing me out and I was not about to loose my dignity so I started gathering my food up. He then hissed you can stay to me but I continued gathering my stuff up and he said next time know we do not allow outside drinks. This man was so rude and not a good ambassador for BrownsSocialHouse at all. I felt he was angry about other things but took his frustrations out on me. I could have been told they donāt allow outside drinks before i was seated at the entrance because you are greeted there you donāt just seat yourself. In my opinion this treatment was largely to do with the fact that i am a person of colour and therefore not respected. I took my food to my truck and ate it in there half way into my rice bowl I found a piece of hair in my rice! Now that upset me, after having been yelled at and appetite ruined. I didnāt bother go in to tell them just took it as a learning of avoid hostile eateries. For reference my drink was a coffee I had just bought from Tim hortons. Sorry for the essay but wanted to...

I wish there was an option for zero stars. Ordered a $57 dollar meal over skip the dish. Order arrived, everything was fine until after eating a couple of the dry ribs we noticed that they were completely RAW. Called the manager at the Albany location, Dave, told him the story. He said sorry nothing I can do. All I was looking for was a refund for a terrible experience. An easy $50 fix for Dave. Not a chance, he said there was no way I was correct (Dave stated they use timers, so I had to be wrong -- pictures don't lie Dave, even though you think I did) that the food was raw and that if I was worried about food poisoning feel free to call the centre for foodborne illness. Are you kidding me? Unless you want to get food poisoning that good ole Dave makes you pay for, avoid this place like the plague.
Take a close look at the picture I uploaded and think hard before eating here. Its a gamble with your health, and they don't care about it at all.

And great response owner, seems like you care about your customers as much as Dave does. Does that image not concern what your restaurant is feeding people? I guess not, 13 bucks will fix it. Impressive customer service guys -- hopefully you don't kill anyone...
