Stopped for a donair. Asked for them to cut it off the spit. But the lady in the back didn’t bother to listen to the cashier. Instead i start seeing flames and the frying of whatever time stamped meat it was. I then went to ask and tell her i wanted it fresh cut off the rotisserie. She points and says this meat is fresh. Well i dont know that. Thats why i wanted it freshly cut. I dont know how long that meat in the back was sitting in a pail or whatever they hold it in. She wasn’t very happy about it. The other male worker i said to him i am only trying to be very nice about this. You could refund my money i dont mind going elsewhere. I dont want to be rude or anything. Just my preference. Got my donair. The way i wanted.
The meat is cut in rectangles just so u know. More of a cubed cut not strips. It was the last one i will try from there but i am a fan of thick cuts. Just not cubed.
Response to review. I get that it does have to be cooked on a flat top. I was more meaning i want it cut from the rotisserie then flat top fried as per Alberta standards. I don’t want it in a pail to be fried as i dont know how long its been sitting in a pail then fried...
Read moreI stopped by Primetime, and I have to say — it was one of the best food experiences I’ve had in a long time.
Right from the moment I walked in, the customer service was amazing. The ladies working there were incredibly polite, patient, and made the entire visit feel welcoming. You can tell they really care about their customers and take pride in their work.
Now let’s talk about the food — absolutely phenomenal. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The donair was packed with just the right amount of meat, sauce, and toppings. Every bite hit the spot. You can tell this isn’t just fast food — they’re serving something they’re proud of.
If you haven’t been to Primetime Donair yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. Friendly faces, top-tier service, and food that speaks for itself. Highly...
Read moreThis is the second time I bought a donair from this location this week. First time was ok, but the order wasn’t prepared the way I had asked and was charged for a large when I had ordered a regular size. This evening I was craving a donair and unfortunately I’m in the Northwest end of Edmonton for 2 weeks, so figured I would give another chance. BIG MISTAKE!!! The chicken was so dry, they shouldn’t be legally serving it, no sauce, and it just turned me right off. It was disgusting. I hate saying this publicly but this was not up to Prime time donair exceptions( my usual location in Heritage Valley in SW Edmonton is amazing every time) and it’s dangerous to be serving people bad meat,...
