This is the most hidden gem šŸ’Ž on Stony Plain Road. I won a contest and received a GC and honestly walked by this place a million times. I went in today to treat myself and celebrate my Dads Heavenly Birthday. I opened the door and was greeted by the sweetest Hello and amazing smile. I ordered a Chi Colate and a ham and cheese croissant 🄐 absolutely amazing the Chi was mixed with an in-house blend of cinnamon cardamom the best. The shop is filled with locally made products of all kinds and in house home made chocolate an entire wall of all different kinds. The prices are the best large cups large portions. If you live in the area or Glenora it is worth the walk over Square One Coffee is over priced and is nothing compared to this place owner is just so so sweet. Thank you for the best experience and brightening my spirits on a sad day šŸ™šŸ¼ā¤ļøšŸ‘šŸ¼

A fantastically rare find… We ordered a Xocolatl and a Cafe Olle… the first changed the way I see a Hot Chocolate (a little spice and chilies go a long way), and the second was the best ā€˜black coffee’ I’ve ever had. I love lattes and creamy coffee drinks but I didn’t even want to add any milk to this. Hot and delicious. The Mexican food was fantastic and filling and the service as friendly and professional as it gets. We’ll be back. A lot. We left with a bag of Cocoa powder that I’ve been enjoying in my morning mochas every day since. PS. The shop is not easy to see and the current construction in front makes it tricky to find. I hope they’ll get some good signage soon. They definitely deserve to be busy…!

We absolutely loved this place! Tried the mezcal truffle, salted caramel truffle, and a slice of banana cake (if I’m not mistaken) along with a cafe de olla and chaicolate. Everything was fantastic — the flavors had so much personality and uniqueness. These weren’t your typical coffee shop items; each had its own character, and I’ve never tasted anything quite like them before. The space itself is cozy and vibrant, with thoughtful decoration and a warm atmosphere. Service was also great, making the experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of their truffles and drinks. Highly recommended!

This is my favourite spot in Edmonton to grab coffee to go for a walk in the river Valley (the new bridge into Mackinnon ravine is open!), to get some work done, or have a date with friends or family.

I live in the area so it's easy to walk to but there is also plenty of free street parking nearby.

The coffee (roasted by local company Brave Fox) is really good. An oat milk latte is my go-to. It is by far the best one I've had from anywhere.

In addition to coffee, they also make their own chocolate (!!). My favourite is the milk passionfruit caramel and the dark chocolate raspberry. I've also bought their cocoa powder to use in my own baking, and it made unreal brownies.

Their Chido desserts are rich and delicious. I'm also a fan of their energy cookies, banana bread, and chocolate loaf.

The owners are very welcoming and friendly, I've always had a great experience here.

There are several shelves of beautiful and interesting locally made items. This would be an excellent place to check out for unique gifts that would also support local makers.

I highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area or making a trip there just to experience this thoughtfully designed and well run local coffee shop with lovely...

This place boasts some of the best cafe drinks in the city… but only when certain employees are making them. I’ve been here so many times (because my wife loves the mocha de olla and I love me some cafe de olla) and the disparity of drink flavour between the employees is sometimes massive. We’ve noticed this especially with the chocolate-based drinks. One employee could make the most delicious drink, whereas another might give you a tasteless milky mess instead. It’s a strange phenomenon.

The lengths between my excitement when I see the two or three people working that I know do a great job and my disappointment when it’s anyone else is huge. I think better quality control for those other employees would really help and would make me want to visit even more frequently. We don’t live super close by, so it’s always disappointing for us when we arrive after a long drive and get a bad drink when it had the potential to be great if someone else...
