Yesterday when I came to buy cinnamon buns there was a homeless/intoxicated man by cinnzeo. He approached me as I was buying a box of cinnamon buns and letting me know he wanted a box as well, I didn’t have a problem getting him one, So I agreed and got him a box. But what disappointed me was the cashier who was muttering under her breath telling me not to get the man one. I do not tolerate that type of cruelty especially to people like the man who’s clearly intoxicated/homeless who can’t afford to get something, when they’re clearly starving and can’t do anything about it. At the end I helped someone who was starving and he was grateful for it. I hope the owner or manager talks to their cashier and not let that sort of behaviour...
Read moreI've been a loyal customer here for years, always coming specifically for their cinnamon rolls and twists. In fact, I haven't had them anywhere else. But after a break from visiting, I was shocked today by the size of the roll I received. This was much smaller than I remember, and it feels as though I got scammed for $6. It doesn't even fill up the box like it did before. What is the point of buying this now? I'm not sure if this is the new standard size or if it was just an oversight by the particular lady working today, but I'd like some clarity on the matter. If I am recalling correctly, I don't believe the rest of the rolls were this small, but I may...
Read moreI love Cinnzeo - but NOT here! They are lacking in cinnamon and goo in comparison to the other Cinnzeos in town (direct comparison to Cinnzeo in West Ed Mall). At south gate they just taste like sticky bread - no cinnamon kick, no drippy brown sugar. They are expensive and if they weren't skimping and used LOTS of good stuff like others do, they would be worth it. These weren't even as good as Safeway - which is a third the price. Plus, if you buy a take home box - you get stale buns! They're needs to be a "baked on" date included so you know what you're getting for 20 bucks a box! An utter utter disappointment. Not going...
