I’m a big time prime time fan. I’d say I go prime time every second day and it’s always soo good and perfect like how I want. Today I went to Southgate mall and I was grabbing lunch, I saw prime time went straight to the counter, there was no greetings from the guy who was working, didn’t utter a single word, he made it seem like he doesn’t wnna work or he was mad that it was busy, I told him the exact order I always get from other locations(small poutine sauted veggies and extra veggies with taziki garlic sauce). He finished making my order in under minute or two, even when I was grabbing my order and was leaving again no thank you or anything. There was no sauted veggies jus poutine and barely any sauces on the top and veggies thrown on it. There’s no way I’m coming to this location again. I don’t want the guy to loose his job but atleast have a reality check of what the consequences could be.

I feel ripped off after ordering a Large donair (take out) after a quick stop at the mall. I have never had a worse donair... I go home with it, I knew it was going to be bad once I opened it, it was very loosely wrapped with next to no meat. The first bite of the pita was almost impossible to bite through because of how dry (tough) the bread was. I am a huge Donair fan and this is the first and last time I go to PT donair. BTW, I did order it with onions and tomatoes, bravo, there was plenty of onion in it, I actually had to scrape some off in order to stomach eating it. With tip, I paid $20 for this attempt at a donair, thanks for nothing! I am so tired of fast food heading this way, is it really that hard to make good food?

I'm a big fan of donairs and have eaten at many different shoos in the Edmonton area. Like all things there are good things about this place and things that are not so good. First the good things. The staff is friendly and efficient, there are lots of healthy vegetables offered, and their prices are competitive. But all of the pluses are weighed down by the negatives. Without a doubt the wrap is the poorest wrapping I've experienced. Poorly done and presented. The whole thing was just a sloppy mess. Everything fell out when the wrap was opened. The beef was skimpy and underseaoned and could not be rescued by the sauces. Sadly, Prime Time Donair is not ready for prime time.

I wanted to share an upsetting experience we had today at Southgate Mall. I was there with my sister, sister-in-law, and my nephew. We stopped by Primetime Donair because my sister-in-law needed to eat and feed the baby.

While she was placing her order and asked the staff member (an East Indian man) to repeat himself, he became very rude and aggressive. He raised his voice and snapped, ā€œI’m telling you the order, aren’t you understanding?ā€ — in front of all of us, including the baby.

My sister-in-law was shocked and hurt, but she chose not to respond in the moment to avoid making a scene.

It's sad and frustrating to witness this kind of disrespectful behavior, especially from people working in customer service. I’m not sharing this out of hate, and I’m absolutely not racist — but respect is important.

Canada is a diverse country, and we all need to treat one another with decency and understanding, no matter where we come from. Raising your voice at anyone — especially a woman trying to care for her baby — is not acceptable here.

I hope sharing this encourages better awareness, training, and accountability. We all deserve to be treated...
