Classic Pizza & donair — Restaurant in Edmonton

We live close by and decided to go for a walk with my yorkie dog and buy a donair for me and my husband because it’s a nice day. Had my dog on my arms (with her leash) so yes I was carrying her. I was planning to place an order, pay for it, go outside and come back when it’s ready. I wasn’t planning on letting my dog roaming around in their place that’s why I was carrying her. I know it’s probably my fault for bringing my dog in cause there’s no place to leave her outside but I just did not expect the rudeness. The time I went in the guy told me, “ leave! Go away!” Did not even let me talk or say something. He could have just say it in a nice manner instead of treating us in that way. I felt like I am a thief or something. I think everyone should know that this business offers discounts to customers that give 5 star reviews, so their high rating is definitely inflated.

I do enjoy the food here, it's incredibly tasty, the pizza, donair, are very well done, the poutine is pretty average but still great.

The staff are generally friendly and accommodating. One problem with the service is that they sometimes overcharge you for your expense, for example my friend was overcharged for a slice of pizza, and discounts are sometimes neglected.

Horrible experience, I’d advise to stay far and clear from this place. I don’t mind spending money but I would sure expect quality food for nearly $50. Service was VERY slow, and no one was in the store, I even witnessed a customer walk away as no one greeted her. They got the order wrong, the fries were cold and unseasoned, the burger was mediocre, the donair poutine was bland and donair meat was dry and crispy.
