Good bubble tea. Horrible horrible service, apparently by the owner no less. My husband went in to buy 3 bubble teas. Being a regular customer, he was able to fill all the stamps needed to get a free drink. When he wanted to claim the free drink he couldn't understand the "owner's" insulting reaction. She was smirking and wanted to know why he's claiming it only now. Well because he wanted to claim it now. What's the problem with that?
Then when he ordered the lady punched in the two more expensive drinks and didn't punch in the cheaper one. When my husband asked why, she said she can only give the best seller ( the cheaper kungfu tea) as the free drink. Then my husband asked where in the card does it say that? She replied dismissively "that's just how it is".
When the order arrived, it was only 2 drinks (since the free drink wasn't punched in). When my husband asked the where the kungfu tea was she became dismayed and sarcastically asked her staff to JUST give him another 2 drinks. Where is this hostility coming from???
If it was too PAINFUL for you to give out free drinks then why have the promo in the first place? One would assume the promo was to get more customers but then you go and insult this loyal customer. I guess she doesn't care since she's losing just one loyal customer. Just one customer who always bought 3 drinks at a time. One customer who told all his friends this that this bubble place was good. I guess this customer will be telling a different story...
Read moreFirst of all, there is 1 employee who is straight out rude. I believe it is the owner of the store and her attitude is unacceptable. My nephew told me he went to this restaurant for some bubble tea but before he was ordering he ate his food that he had from another store. The lady kicked out my nephew and said “Food is not allowed here” Sorry Lady, there goes one of your customers. He was about to order from you guys before you kicked him out for eating food that isn’t from your restaurant.
Second of All, The reason my nephew did not purchase food from this restaurant is because it is way too overpriced and also takes very long for the employees to make the food. My nephew has been late many times after lunch because it takes 15-25 minutes just to make Fries or one of the Bowls.
I recommend to others not to order from this...
Read moreFinally a bubble tea place in Millwoods! They have classic teas, milk teas, punches (fruity drinks), slushes, espresso drinks, and lactose-free options (the milk strikes). The drinks are on the sweeter side though so I would suggest asking for less sugar if you can, especially since the tapioca pearls are sweetened themselves. My personal favorite is the coconut milk tea with pudding instead of pearls (KF Tea gives the most pudding out of any bbt place in Edmonton).
They may not have conventional flavors like chocolate or avocado but the drinks they do have are tasty and unique. Don't hesitate to ask the staff if you have any questions about the menu cause it is a bit intimidating if you're not a regular bbt drinker. All in all, there's definitely room for KF Tea to improve but it's a solid bbt joint in...
