Update: Friday September 12 @ ~10pm, fiance and I decided to take a scooter ride over to the restaurant.
When we arrived, we considered ordering a slice of pizza each, however the slices that were ready to go looked extremely dry and sad.
So, we decided to order a donair to share, however, we were told that this would be a 25-30 minute wait. Alright then. So, we ultimately ordered some wings and jalapeño poppers.
Upon ordering, the man who took our order asked a female, who was sitting at a table, to come help. Shortly thereafter, we heard what sounded like loud arguing (in another language), including some banging of items in the back.
Before we got our food, we each went to the washroom to wash our hands, which was not exactly clean.
Food arrived. Wings were hot, sauce was tasty, but they were overcooked and tough. Poppers were cold, and probably the worst ive ever had. Tasted like maybe they used cottage cheese in them? The texture was very offputting.
Went to wash hands again before leaving, and they had locked the bathroom?? So we quickly used the sink up front (where staff wash their hands), and that whole area was very dirty.
Suffice to say, we will never be back. Donair was unavailable (?!), staff were unwelcoming, Food was barely edible, and the place was freaking dirty.
Ordered through Skip. Food came ice cold, but that's likely the driver's fault so whatever. Asked for less meat and more veggies (every donair place always accommodates this request); instead, I received almost no veggies. Didn't get the extra side of sauce that I paid for. Donair was soggy and the packaging was horrendous, absolutely everything in the bag was covered in/dripping with sweet sauce. Made a huge mess just from pulling the donair out of the bag. A very...
Read moreEDIT-The owner had commented on my original review and asked that I email them about it. I did that, and they offered both dishes from our original purchase free of charge and asked that I let him know when we'd be in to pickup. This was a very kind gesture. We planned a date and time. That particular day the roads were not great, nonetheless my partner went out to pickup. When he got there, no one knew what he was talking about. I emailed the owner afterward, it has been a few days, and no response. I'm not impressed.
Was here last week. Just got around to writing a review. We get the donair poutine and the garlic cheesy bread. When I called it in they said 10-15 minutes, I arrived about 20 minutes later. The first lady stopped what she was doing to tell me my food was ready, but it would just be a moment. I thought she was going to get my food but she proceeded to do something else. Eventually, another guy came out and was able to serve me. I went home and when we opened our food the donair poutine had no donair sauce. The cheesy bread also usually comes with donair sauce and didn't. Pretty disappointing, if I had gone back I would have barely made it there before closing time, which didn't feel worth it. Giving 2 stars, because we have had decent food...
Read moreTo be honest the food itself was very average, donair pizza had the smallest amount of donair meat on a pizza I’ve ever seen… sliced on thinnest settings on the slicer 100% the cheeseburger pizza was actually quite tasty and actually tasted like a cheeseburger. Don’t waste your money on the donair pizza! Now as for the service… there was none. The man walked by me and didnt acknowledge I was there… 2-3 mins later a woman walks out the back says hello, I ask for my pick up order. She’s tells me it’s ready but can I pay cash? She says her machine isn’t working… I tell her well I guess I ain’t having pizza tonight and turn to walk out, she says something to her buddy in their language, and low and behold the debit machine is working again… 🤨 seems to me the workers have some kind of cash scam going on…. Atmosphere was very cluttered full of empty boxes and stacks of pop everywhere.
Save your hard earned money and eat elsewhere, Dallas pizza is much higher quality and it’s just up the road! I...
