Well this locations been a very good place to go in the past. However my last nights experiance was very upsetting. First off every single table at the booths were pulled 5 feet away. So you had to move the table to yourself to eat if you were to sit down. Second. I have a medical condition myself. I can't eat certain things so I know my meals and what's in them before I buy them. When asked for sauce on both my orders. They never put any on. I got back to my grandmothers to eat our dinner and she was displeased as was I that my request scoops of sauce was not there. Now we both consider acceptable faults. So we decided to ignore the poor prepping of our food. But as I got to the bottom of my dish I roasted something odd. I ordered a sukiyaki beef with double beef and somehow there was something that tasted like poppy seeds maybe? But not small. I felt the crunch and flavour explode in my mouth that was not vegetables. Which goes to tell me that they loaded my carry out container without making sure there was nothing else in it. Very very poor practice where we live. Now the only reason I'm making this report is because of this foreign body in my meal. It has cause my medical condition a lot of grief to me. It's not life threatening but when I consume what I cannot have i go through a lot of bowel pains and now because of this. My day here is ruined as I must be by a toilet untill my system clears. If this was anyone with an allergy. They would most...
Read moreI often either go this location to get food or order for pick up through skip the dishes. Went there today to order some food for me and the kids. After placing an order and I was about to tap my debit, I realized there was a deal for 2. So I asked the cashier to change the order. This wouldn't have taken 15 seconds, and it would have cost me a little bit more, but I wanted what the deal came with, so I was ok with that. This guy flung his head back and rolled his eyes like I was asking him to move a mountain. Are u kidding me?! I work in hospitality/customer service and u just DO NOT behave like that in front of customers. By all means do it in the back or when people leave. People choose to come there to spend their hard earned $! The least you can do is make sure they get what they actually want and are PAYING for. Someone needs to teach the ppl at this location that people work hard for their money and they should appreciate the people supporting them, instead of making people feel like they're a bother for changing their minds. Get over yourselves! And to think, I ALWAYS tipped when I ordered through Skip during the pandemic. I Definitely will NOT be going back here. I'll drive farther and get...
Read moreVery bad location for service. We went in to grab some lunch and ordered the beef yakisoba with no veggies, the chicken terriyaki with double veggies and 6 piece salmon maki. When they rang up the order for some reason I noticed a $1 charge to remove the vegetables from the beef yakisoba. I go to the edo in the university a lot for lunch and have never had them charge me for this before. When we questioned them they said that they needed to add extra noodles to compensate for the lack of veggies. The guy at the till was new so we asked to talk to a manager. She was very rude to begin with and it seemed a bother to have to come talk to us. When it was pointed out that veggies cost $1 and the noodles cost $1 so why does it cost $1 to sub veggies for noodles (which we didn't actually ask them to do anyway) she just kept waving her hands and telling us we obviously didn't understand. We actually just ended up cancelling our $26 order and leaving as she argued with us for about 10 min without actually giving us any explanation. Its a little crazy that they are willing to lose a $26 order over a $1 charge. I ended up up contacting head office because it was such a...
