Jumbo Donair — Restaurant in Edmonton

I was very conflicted as to whether or not to go swing by there for lunch due to the reviews. I grew up in the area, but I haven’t been here for a long time. I just happen to be working in the neighbourhood at a construction site. I had a hankering for a Donaire a couple of months ago and went to the place in Milbourne mall and I was very very disappointed. So this time I decided despite the reviews I was going to try jumbo Donair. I am not exaggerating when I say that was literally probably the best Donair I’ve had in 20 years all I can think is anybody who’s written a negative review is a competitor, because the food was incredible and the people are super nice. I will definitely be going back...

Mike the old owner is no longer there the guys that cook there have no idea what there doing and can't even fry fries mine were raw still 0 stars now if I could the meat is even the same some thin sliced pre packaged stuff they get wish I new if Mike went somewhere else or retired...

Used to love this place as my #1 goto donair place. The gentleman who used to own it left and now it is being run by someone else. I DO NOT recommend this place at all any more. I sure its an okay Phillipine bakery but they do not know donairs. Its a Hard pass for me...
