This Restaurant is under a new owner and management . It's at the same location of 66 street. There are many businesses in the same location. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. They do more of catering services and take outs than eating in the restaurant. They have a couple of tables in the restaurant for customers. The cuisine served at this restaurant is from the beautiful green state of Kerala in the southern peninsula of India. It's popularly know as "God's own Country". The food is rich in coconut, vegetables, meat and sea food. The food is moderately spicy. The cooks are from Kerala and the food is very tasty. Cost wise it's reasonably priced. The staff are very helpful and service is good. They also have a snack bar with traditional keral snacks for sale. There is free parking space available. As their price is very competitive they have a good catering services. They also have special offers and this weekend it was different kinds of Biryani ( chicken, mutton, fish, prawn etc). This Biryani is very different from the ones served at all other Indian restaurants in Edmonton. It was very mildly spiced...
Read moreI recently ordered takeout from Masalaz and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding.
I opted for the chicken biriyani with chicken 65 and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the biriyani had just the right amount of spice.
The packaging was also well-done, with the food arriving hot and neatly packaged. The portion sizes were generous, and I was able to enjoy a satisfying meal without any hassle.
The staff were also friendly and accommodating, with my order being ready for pickup on time. Overall, I would highly recommend Masalaz restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and convenient meal. The food, packaging, and service were all top-notch, and I cannot wait to order from them again...
