KFC — Restaurant in Edmonton

Regular customer here and the service is a bit hit or miss. Food quality can vary but it's been adequate for a KenTaco. If anyone expects 5 star service and quality from a KFC or Taco Bell in any location on Earth must have been living under a rock. It's practically scientific fact that the food here is barely fit for human consumption and that's ok. Sometimes your bowels just need a hard reset to keep things moving smoothly.

This last visit was to finally try their "Famous Chicken Sandwich". Not sure where famous came from, when I think of an iconic KFC sandwich the "Snackwich" comes to mind. Anyways, I've seen more than a ton of horrible reviews and had been really hesitant to eat one. Then the 2 famous sandwiches and fries promo for $10 started and I figured to take the leap. Since I was brave enough to eat a chicken sandwich from 7/11 for $6, two KFC sandwiches for $10 is a steal.

I ordered this combo with an added gravy to make the fries somewhat palatable which was a mistake. Gravy was void of any flavour and literally tasted like brown paste. Oh well, the sandwiches are the focus and they tasted better than I thought they would. I forgot to mention to the staff that I was wanting the spicy mayo but they surprised me by adding a few tacobell salsa packets in the bag for me which improved on the overall flavour. Chicken breast wasnt overly battered and was moist and substantial. It wasn't hot out of the fryer and had above room temperature and may have been sitting under a lamp for awhile. Taste was average and nothing to be famous for but at $10 for 2 sandwiches who cares. Slightly better than 7/11 overall but 7/11 has a much superior spicy mayo. Service was good, order was accurate and delivered quickly. I'll be back of course but may stick to the Taco Bell menu once this...

On May 28, 2019 we purchased 4 flatbread Fill up. When our order was completed we reviewed what we all ordered. In my box l had 7 popcorn chicken in my order. My brother got 4 popcorn chicken in his. My daughter got 2 popcorn chicken and her hubby got 2 popcorn chicken. When my daughter went to tell them what we got and they did nothing to rectify this issues. Order total was $21.00. I then purchased an order to take out and there was no problem. That order was $27.38.

On June 06, 2019 My room mate purchased $30 Double Bucket. She was sick for that day and next day. Total order was $31.50 and take out.

On June 07, 2019 I did drive thru and ordered double taco with cheese. I told the gentleman that l did not want spicy cheese. When l finally got to eat my meal and found it over spicy that l had to throw it out. That order was $10.16.

I think that with all the money we spend at this store we should be getting better service and better quality of food. As for us right now we won't be going back again real soon. I also will be letting people know what kind of service to expect...

I'd like to start off with how rude the staff are. Attitude when I ordered & attitude when I called back to let then know what was wrong with my order. My order was a four piece of chicken with fries, a macaroni salad. A gravy to replace the drink and a soft taco on the side. When I got to the window they asked me what my order was. I am in a one car drive through. I told her my order. She acted superior to me and smug. I paid and when she past me my order I asked about the salad cause I really wanted macaroni salad and all kfc seem to throw in what ever. And she said it was all there. When I got home. I had 6 pieces of chicken and a gravy. So I called and told the lady what was wrong. She did not tell me anything about fixing the problem and talking to the woman who took my order. All she asked was what it was. And for my name. And sounded annoyed with me. And there was the smallest hair on a piece if my chicken. I am so turned away from kfc after this visit I will be sending this in email to head office as well. With a poor economy you would think they would strive to be...
