Review of KFC at South Gate Mall – October 7, 2025, 6:30 PM
I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with the experience I had at the KFC location in South Gate Mall. From the moment I reached the front of the line, the cashier was blatantly rude and dismissive. She ignored my questions, smiled and engaged with the person behind me—who she clearly knew—while I stood there trying to place my order. When I spoke up and told her it was disrespectful to act like I didn’t exist just to chat with her friend, she began mumbling under her breath that “customers aren’t always right” and began carrying on in such behaviour with her hands in swinging around. I asked her to back up and step away she refused
Her coworker attempted to intervene and calm the situation, but the cashier refused to listen. Eventually, the coworker took my order instead. However, the disrespect didn’t end there. When my food was ready, it was dragged across the counter without any notice or acknowledgment. It was packed for dine-in, even though I had clearly stated it was a to-go order. When the coworker asked why the food was just sitting there, the cashier gestured toward me and said, “That’s her food,” in a dismissive tone.
At that point, I was beyond upset. This is not how anyone should be treated—especially when spending their hard-earned money on food they’re expected to consume. Read moreI have been visiting this store for a while now but wasn't been so great because of people who works at the front desk. I so many times stopped myself going to this store but could not because of love towards my favorite meal. I was talking to this india girl from past few weeks and asked her name and it was Vidyaa..such a wonderful girl who always makes my visit so enjoyable. I really appreciate her positive attitude of this girl that brings to the counter. Always makes me feel welcome and valued as a customer. I recommend KFC management to bring such people on board and recommend to immediately take an action on those Phillipineos ladies because of there bad attitude and worst behavior with the customers. Read moreWorked in fast food chain as manager for decades, got disappointed in this location. Customer service so bad. The lady who was taking order was so rude, her name is i think Linda or something else. I dont know if she is rude to everyone or her day was bad. She forgot most of order and pretend the order is complete. Asked for some ketchup and she was literally counting the pouches and with order of 70 dollar she just give 4 ketchup packets. When asked for more she got so mad. I understand when is busy but with no more order and no one in line she was yelling and was mad. A smile at least she can give but even that one.
