My recent visit to Khazana Indian Express & Pizza in Windermere left me with mixed feelings. While I found their appetizers to be quite enjoyable, the overall taste of the food was just average.
Starting with the positives, I must say that their appetizers were a highlight of the meal. The flavors were well-balanced, and they provided a good introduction to the Indian cuisine they offered. The appetizers were satisfying, and it was evident that effort had been put into their preparation.
However, when it came to the main courses, I found the taste to be somewhat lacking. The flavors didn't quite match up to my expectations. While the food wasn't terrible, it was just okay. It lacked that wow factor that makes you want to come back for more. I felt that the dishes could have been more flavorful and had a more authentic taste.
In terms of service, the staff at Khazana Indian Express & Pizza were friendly and attentive. They were quick to take our orders and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The restaurant itself had a cozy ambiance, which added to the overall dining experience.
While I appreciate the effort put into the appetizers and the attentive service, I can't overlook the fact that the main courses fell short in terms of taste. It's possible that my expectations were high, given the reputation of Indian cuisine, but I still believe there is room for improvement.
If you're in the mood for some appetizers, Khazana Indian Express & Pizza might be worth a visit. However, if you're seeking a truly outstanding Indian dining experience with consistently delicious food, you may want to explore other options...
Read moreHonestly if I could put zero stars I would the customer service and management is terrible I’m sorry to say I’ve had the worst experience and it was from a third person party through skip the dishes because they said the management decided that they wanted to close early even though I ordered my food and waited 40 minutes while the skip driver was about 10 minutes away from grabbing my food they decided to cancel the order and close the restaurant just absolutely terrible customer service. Yes I can say that for the first time skip was in the right and the restaurant was in the wrong don’t bother ordering from this restaurant as they have not even bothered to reach out to me and try to fix the problem shows the lack of communication from management.
Oh and it looks like they only reply back to positive comments on me don’t you ever feel like you guys want to get better then maybe you should take the criticism and work on it and try to fix it instead of just doing nothing about it this doesn’t just go for me I’ve ran down the list and seen others that have been missed treated as well and still not even a reply or a review message back from the restaurant.
This goes far and beyond management and goes to franchisee owners. Just sad to witness this...
Read moreExtremely overpriced greedy menu pricing. I would recommend finding your East Indian fix elsewhere. The portions are very small compared to what you pay for example $18.00 Butter Chicken & $18.00 Tandoori Chicken (half spring chicken) and $18.00 Okra Curry.
The flavors are great and authentic but still not worth the bloated pricing strategy. I will never order from here again when I'm looking for East Indian Food.
I ordered the following:
tandoori chicken = it was dry and over priced for its portion
butter chicken = same as every other butter chicken and awkward chicken portions and overpriced for its portion
okra curry - overly compensated with other ingredients which mask the true flavors of what Okra curry should be and overpriced for its portions
yogurt Raita = came in this dinky tiny little container and overpriced for its portions
I've been to New Asian Village & Zaika and have had better experiences and value..
But, having said that I would still recommend Khazana as a once in a while indulgence when you want to throw away money and look fancy.
They will never replace the old school Khazana in downtown. That place was special. But flavors are still truly delicious to be...
