Great new place in the old Wok Box location in Windermere. They've done a great job of the interior — it's got good ambiance for dining in, and was spotlessly clean. The owner was really nice, and we talked for about 10 minutes. He's very open to feedback to make his new restaurant better. We ordered takeout: butter chicken, mango chicken, veggie samosas, Hakka noodles, chicken momo Nepalese dumplings, and naan. It was all delicious, and portion sizes were good. Not sure what one other reviewer was talking about when he said the chicken momos were mostly cabbage -- that's not the slightest bit true. They were meaty and delicious. I was actually most pleasantly surprised by the flavour of the Hakka noodles -- they were better than ones I've had from Chinese restaurants, and worth a try, even though it's not Indian food. The bill was ~$78 before tip, and my family of four has a TON of leftovers, so it's great value. All the pics I took are actually of the leftovers, since I dove right in as soon as I got home, lol. If you're dining in, be sure to register your license plate in the restaurant as that parking lot is monitored and my daughter got a ticket there when at a doctor's appointment. I highly recommend that you give this place a try!

Mirch Masala - A Bit Underwhelming My recent visit to Mirch Masala left a bit to be desired. We tried a range of dishes, including the Chilli Chicken Dry, Chilli Chicken Gravy, Chicken Fried Rice, Veg Schezwan Momos, Chicken hakka noodles and Chilli Chicken Momos. Overall, the food was just okay. We had specifically requested medium to spicy for all our dishes, which they didn't deliver on – unfortunately. Everything felt a little underwhelming in terms of flavor. The chilli chicken dishes, both dry and gravy, lacked the expected punch, and the momos, while edible, didn't really stand out. Even the chicken fried rice, a fairly standard dish, didn't quite hit the mark. It's possible the chef was having an off day, as the food wasn't bad, just not particularly memorable. If you're looking for something safe and very mild, Mirch Masala might do the trick, but don't expect an explosion of flavor.

I recently dined at Mirchi Masala in Windermere, Edmonton, and I was thoroughly impressed! The ambiance is warm and inviting—a perfect blend of traditional Indian decor with a modern twist. The menu boasts a diverse array of authentic dishes, and every bite was a burst of flavor. I especially loved their tandoori specialties and rich curries that truly capture the essence of Indian cuisine. The service was exceptional as well. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to help with recommendations, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re looking for a family dinner spot or a place to impress guests, Mirchi Masala is a must-visit for anyone in Edmonton who appreciates quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I had ordered takeout food. The food was very poor. I had ordered chilli chicken and butter chicken, there was no garlic in the garlic naan, the gravy of butter chicken is very sour, I had ordered veg momos, for a vegetarian person, they gave me chicken moms, and the most important thing I noticed was that the restaurant staff was drinking inside when I was going to the washroom, if I had to not go out of the city, I would have complained to the health inspector. If you cannot give good food then why do you ask every customer to give a 5 star review. I think you have got all these 5 star reviews by asking the customers to give them..review I add the pulses as per my wish. Just like I am adding pulses now. This is the first time I have eaten such a...
