We are so excited to eat at Max's Restaurant since we came all the way from Saskatchewan but unfortunately it turns out be a very BAD experience. We arrived around 5pm at the restaurant, from the start we told to the host that we are 2 Families and we are paying 2 separate bill. At first, they sat us on a long table and the host told us that still we have to pay the gratuity. We don't agree to her so she told us to go back to waiting area. She sat our friends in a different table, then after few minutes of waiting the host sat my family and I on anothet table which is VERY far from our friends considering there are so many table available near to us. We didn't have a chance to enjoy our meal since we lost our appetite from the beginning because of the bad service. Even our server didn't check back to us and never ask how's the food and our how's our experience. After I paid, our server noticed that I didn't put any TIP on the payment receipt. Then, she asked me " Is there something wrong with my service?". I even told her "I'm SORRY, we're NOT happy!". Immediately she turned her back and she don't even bothered why??? I just have questions to the MANAGEMENT, "What is your TOP priority, is it CUSTOMER SATISFACTION or to have more groups of people that will give your staff a gratuity? I suggest you better review, reassess the performances and or may I say the ATTITUDE of your staffs. PROMISE I will never ever ever ever come back again in this restaurant because of the POOR service. At first we're so excited to have our dinner here to celebrate my husband's birthday last night. Because of our past experience here last 2018, it was so good and delicious. I called the Restaurant first before we go for the 6:30 pm dinner to skip the waiting line but the crew said its not a busy day so it is okay not to reserve a spot. Thats very good! When we're there, we wait a little bit and we got our table. We are 3 adults and 2 little kids. We waited to be served, thats fine. And they take our order which are what we really want are not available so we decided to have a Crispy Pata, Pancit Canton, Pork BBQ skewers, Pork sisig, Pork Shanghai, Garlic fried rice and a Pop without Ice and a buko juice, I requested for the high chair and the waiter said he will give. Around 15minutes the food was serve with 4 plates and 4pair of cuttlery but we're 5 people and I repeat again the high chair, yes he said again but we already starting to eat no high chair comes, so I decided to ask another crew and I said that Im the one who will get it, just let me know we're it is and then I ask another plate too. Then the Pork BBq skewer taste gas, the Crispy pata is not crispy. The pancit canton is too salty, even the Pork sisig is very very salty and like old left over. The meat taste old. This "guy" who was stationed at the Reception today, April 26,2021 at 4:00 PM is the worst in customer service. When I came in, the door was closed so had to open it myself and put the door stopper because how can I order properly if the door is just shutting behind me, to think its a heavy door. This "guy" just watched me do my thing there even if he/she can see that I am having a hard time putting that door stopper. In addition, no hi/hello kumusta po greeting when I came in, totally different that when a foreigner came in to pick up the skip order. When its finally time to pay, he/she gave me the terminal, and told me it was declined,obviously it was their wifi connection which has a problem. So he let me do it agaib using that same terminal when it should have given him/her a queue to change the terminal because it was absolutely not my debit card which has an issue. Second time it was declined again so I told him/her that I have funds on my account so its impossible that it was my card and he/she sarcastically responded, nobody told you that there's no money in your card and went on to get a new terminal. Payment was finally processes, tore the receipt and walk behind me without even saying thank you. Such an a*hole. Pinoy ka pa naman.
