McDonald's — Restaurant in Edmonton

My experience yesterday late afternoon was very poor. After visiting the city to do errands and having a 3 hour drive ahead for me and my kids we stopped at this location and received very poor customer service.

I went through the drive thru and order 2 big mac meals and 2 happy meals. I was told to drive ahead and turn left and park in front of the door and they would bring my food out. No biggie, i dont mind usually however as i moved ahead the parking spot i was directed to take was already occupied. Confused i just went to reserved parking spot 1.

I ended up waiting with cold and hungry kids in my car for 10 minutes. After seeing many, many cars go through the drive thru with much larger orders I decided to call the store to see what was the hold up. I was told they were still working on my order.

After another 5 minutes someone brought out our food and informed me one of the workers had given our good to someone else and they werent aware until i called so they had to remake my order.

For an apology i was given those cheap coupons they give out like candy in the mail to anyone. Again, poor customer service and wasnt really acceptable. Hopefully they become more organized and this doesnt...

So so so disappointed! This cashier who took my order was Katelyn. I ordered everything the first time just to get all my right orders. When she called me to come get my order, she said she didn’t charge me for the rest so I paid and for the second order she said she missed my order and didn’t charge me for the rest again so I paid for the third time. Order # 290, 292, 293 I have all the receipts. I even paid extra because everything was supposed to be a meal but I had to pay separately. This shift manager Harveer is not helpful at all. They’re not even getting our order right and we paid extras for syrups in our coffees. Yet again they didn’t make it right. I’m not sure if this girl is a trainee but if she is someone is supposed to be looking after her guiding her like … Terrible service and experience. NEVER COMING BACK !! I didn’t complain at the store cuz there’s no point. They didn’t try to compensate us about what happened. In fact we got overcharged Because she made it per item instead of meals. I EVEN asked her for help but this girl said I can’t help you I’m already on break. Like just wow!...

Ordered two big mac meals with two comes to drink, I mentioned I had the 2 Can Dine meal coupon before I ordered like the sign asked. Payed my total at the first window and waited in line for at least 10 min. When I drove to the pick up window. I waited until finally she passed me my order and two drinks, asked if I had straws, I had only one in the bag where there was two drinks ordered. I went home, good thing I live only 2 blocks away. When leaving the vehicle I realized the bag had three fries and a small burger a cheeseburger maybe. I dropped the kids off with my husband at home and went back to get the correct order. Went through drive through again and mentioned that I received the wrong order, proceeded to the pick up window, waited and got the order again, came home to find the fries were half fried. Not even hard, just flimsy and almost translucent from not being cooked all the way. Unless this is a bad location at 8:30 pm or all the time, but pretty disappointing….I would have waited that extra minute to have the order filled correctly as I took the time and money to return for the...
