McDonald's — Restaurant in Edmonton

Unfortunately this is the location closest to me and 9/10 times I come here to get any food the order is wrong, when correcting the staff that something is missing I'm always faced with rude remarks or them flat out saying I never ordered that; I understand sometimes it's hard to hear orders using the headset but I always make sure to double check my order before paying as well, customer service is lacking and basic operations need to change for this location.

Again, this being the closest McDonald's is the unfortunate joke; otherwise I have to drive another 10 minutes out of my way for food and honestly in some cases I have made the extra drive just so that I don't have to deal with a lack of customer service and being accused that I made the order wrong by not adding this or that.

Last time I was here I ordered food, they gave me someone else's order; I corrected them and the lady at the window rolled her eyes with me and told me this is what I ordered, I had to literally sit there and wait for her to finish talking so that I could advise her that my order was a simple drink, to which she replied "ohh, why didn't you just say that!" In the most condescending and rude manner possible. Like this situation was my fault, I understand it's a simple thing but these things have been adding up over time and working retail customers myself for many years I understand the ordeals service workers have to go through as well but this location either needs better management or training because something is definitely lacking.

I have literal names of employees treating not just myself but other customers poorly but I prefer not revealing information like that here, these workers are an expression of the McDonald's name; an extension of what they stand for and I have worked for McDonald's when I was young as well so I know this isn't standard and this isn't what they believe in.

Make some changes please, see where you're lacking and work towards bettering the service here; I'm not asking for much, mistakes can happen but when it's constant and when you're belittling your own literal customers then understand...

I only go to this McDonalds because it is close by, but otherwise this location is lacking in lots of things. I actually have been disappointed EVERY TIME I come here, and here are some of my experiences at this location:

The last time we went, I’d ordered a Greek salad. Instead, the server gave us a Caesar salad, which has ham in it. I don’t even eat ham, and I told him that before. Previously, the girl who I first ordered a Greek salad from that same day before this happened afterward, did not even ask what type of dressing I’d like. I told her that she forgot to ask me about the dressing I wanted, and then she said that since it’s a Greek salad, I’d have Greek salad dressing. She knew what I wanted, but still did not ask me to clarify.

Today, at lunchtime, I ordered another Greek salad. The server agreed to that and prepared the order. He then served it to me and then I asked where the Greek salad dressing and peas were, because he said they came with the salad. He replied saying that they were out of Greek dressing and peas. I told him that he could have told me earlier! He did not even offer me something else to make up for what happened. My kid’s chicken nuggets took so long to be served! I had to go and remind the server for the second time to serve the food. And, most of the people who work there are either irresponsible students or young adults. There is a lack in good service. Literally the worst location in Edmonton.

We grab dinner here when we're short on time, often quick cheap orders that aren't complicated. So far we have:

Ordered 2 breakfast burrito meals. Should be 4 burritos, 2 hashbrowns. It was 4 hashbrowns, 2 burritos.

Ordered a cheeseburger with extra pickles. Got a cheeseburger with no pickles.

Ordered 3 medium fries. Just... 3 medium fries. Got 2 and a hashbrown.

Ordered an iced tea and a coke zero. Got 2 iced teas.

Ordered a cheeseburger with a medium fry and some Angus meal. Received one medium fry and the cheeseburger had no cheese.

Ordered a single breakfast burrito meal, regular. Should be a coffee and a hashbrown and 2 burritos.. Asked for extra salsa, got no salsa and 2 hashbrowns.

Ordered one of those breakfast wrap things. Eggs were so hard I thought someone left plastic in it. Absolutely disgusting.

The only reason we go here is it's literally quick and easy. If you tell them they screwed up they give you a credit. Then they'll screw that up, too, but they'll say sorry.

I should also note: we ordered 10 cheeseburgers and 10 junior chickens for an event. It was 100% correct. The first order I've had that they didn't mess up and it was gigantic.

They need new management or training, or both. I've never been to a worse McDonald's, and I used to live in Winnipeg so that's...
