O2's Mill Woods — Restaurant in Edmonton

I was disappointed with my visit at this 02's for a variety of reasons. As we entered, the music was super loud, yet this is not a nightclub but a pub. There were very few patrons even though this was Friday night. There is no dance floor so why does the music need to be cranked so loud? Anyways, we sat down and I asked about the beer special for $4.50. The server went to get me what I had ordered only to return saying they were out. I found that odd as it was on the sign when we first walked in. I asked if I could get an equivalent for $4.50, so again the server leaves to ask her manager. She comes back with the answer "No". I order a different beer and wondered why the hell I ever bothered coming to this end of the road pub.

The service was good but management has a lot to learn about gaining and retaining customers by honoring drink specials clearly advertised, offering substitutes when they are out of stock, and not having he music blaring electronica when the place in not a nightclub and is dead as a cemetery.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the service was good. Everything else was mediocre to crummy.

I would not return unless this O2's is purgatory and I have no choice as I am already one of the dead stuck here in this limbo of expensive beers and really bad...

Hey… whosoever is looking at your reviews guys i literally want to be truthful about it last night i visited you place at millwoods had a good round of drinks with my friends and a bunch of games all together. Spending a hefty amount of money on that side. Once we were tired we decided to order some food and ordered some blackened chicken burger for myself my whole bun was burnt. Despite letting my servers know about it they did nothing about it. Well this is not the service i was expecting on the south side. The attitude your servers had both at the bar and the table(June15 after 6:45pm) was not acceptable. I am for sure not recommending my friends to visit this place again. Its better to visit another places similar who have better service even at their busiest time. This place just had us but still getting burnt food is totally bad customer service. Guyz please improve tour service or hire people who like to care about customer service not about just personal profits which means adding gratuity to the table more than 8 or at-least provide that service . So disappointed to visit this place. What a waste of money. I wanted to say this on waiter’s face but no point. I hope your management gets this message and they actually act serious about it. I visited this place for the 3rd time to watch the UFC event with my brother and his friends. This waitress, whom, I won't name, left me in utter disbelief with her terrible attitude after she insulted me in front of my friends and family. First, she rung in my order wrong, brought us the wrong pizza.

We almost bit into the food before luckily I caught it and had it returned. Then, we had asked her to bring us water as my brother had a severely dry throat and it took her 15 minutes to bring us a glass of water.

As I paid the bill, and tipped her according to her service (which I shouldn't have especially after the terrible experience), she says to me, "if you can't afford to tip well, you should go eat somewhere else." I couldn't believe what I had heard and approached the owner ASAP to let him know what happened.

He confirmed the incident with the waitress herself and was extremely nice and apologetic but my entire night was ruined.
