I don't usually write reviews but after my last experience here I had to write this review. I've always loved the food from Pita Pit but I will not be returning to this location anymore due to the fact that the staff at this location lack proper hand hygiene skills. The past two times I visited I had to ask the staff to change their gloves before touching my food after watching them touch the cash register. The first time this happened the lady working changed her gloves right away and there was no problem. However, the next time I came in there was a different lady working. I was not the only customer there at the time either. I watched her handle the register then proceed to prepare the food with the same pair of gloves. I asked her to change her gloves before she prepared my food. She said okay but proceeded to prepare the food of the other customer first with the same pair of gloves. I was shocked. She then changed her gloves before handling my food but part way through the phone rang, she answered the phone then proceeded to prepare some additional orders while wearing those same gloves. This was also shocking. I had to ask her to change her gloves again before handling my food. The whole situation caused a lot of anxiety and unfortunately I will not be eating at this location again. If you order food from this location beware about their hand...
Read moreOrdered delivery on Friday night. The kids enjoyed their pita wraps (reason this gets 2 stars), though said they were missing a couple of things. I had a small bowl.. They weren’t kidding about the small. They really should express the physical size or volume in their description, I’ve had larger side-salads included with another item or two for the price I paid for this. There was more pickle than lettuce in this thing. Less than an ounce of lettuce. The falafel (that you pay an extra $2.50 for) was some dried out falafel crumbs sprinkled on top, not even one full falafel ball worth. The ‘omg’ (onions, mushrooms, green peppers) were missed entirely. Taste was mediocre. The whole thing was a joke. Maybe the larger size is a better value, but this was complete trash, so I won’t be finding out. I wouldn’t even mind the price difference, I ordered the small because I usually can’t finish a large or regular when I order them from other establishments. You would think you’d get the same volume of food minus the pita when ordering the salad vs the wrap, you absolutely do not, so a real shame when trying to eat healthier (their whole thing is suppose to be about offering healthier options), or when you can’t have the carbs. Way better portion sizes and options at Chopped Leaf or Freshii for...
Read moreCame here from 20 mins away because I really missed the pitas on Whyte Ave when I lived there. Girl working repeated to me back that I wanted a combo, so I paid. Then when she asked me about my bread, I asked what I can pick for the combo cause she must have forgotten. She then said ‘oh you wanted a combo?’. I was surprised because after paying $14.58 all I was getting was a wrap AND after repeating it back she acted confused? I said nevermind to adding $4+ for the stupid combo on my debit. The wrap (regular) was stuffed about half the amount this location and the whyte used to make. Looks like there’s now an ‘XL’ size that’s likely now the size of the regular. I was debating picking up something from a restaurant, which I should have done. The pita wasn’t even warmed. She also started making what I assume was a to-go order along with my wrap and that tacked on some time, and there wasn’t even anyone else there aside from me. Mine had bacon on it, and the one she was making did not. After wasting my time, I was disappointed and ripped off. I will never be coming back. I regret not going to Booster Juice and getting a regular size smoothie AND a panini for the same price. I ended up going to Booster Juice for my drink and felt such guilt for spending so much for such a...
