Disclaimer I am an Edmonton based foodie that regularly samples and reviews different local restaurants in an ultimate quest to uncover some of Edmonton’s BEST local hidden gems....so basically what I’m saying is that I’m fat

My review is as follows:

I recently decided to try @Your Pizza Guy after seeing a video posted to a local Facebook community group. I decided to have a go at their beef taco pizza, all in all I would have to say I was reasonably impressed. The ingredients were all fresh, the beef seasoned perfectly, and the crust was excellent. It did have a slight “flop” to it however it wasn’t enough that toppings were uncontrollably falling off. The one knock I did find against this particular pizza is it didn’t come with a swirl of sour cream on top which is typically common for any “taco” style pizza. I did politely point this out and they were more than happy to improvise by adding a light ranch dressing swirl instead which worked for me. These guys are a brand new family owned restaurant, owned by a very driven and motivated East Indian husband and wife couple. The husband very much reminds me of the character “Apu” from The Simpsons in that he has that typical happy go lucky, friendly, energetic, East Indian happiness about his personality; it almost rubs off on you. He even hits you with the classic “Thank you for ordering from Your Pizza Guy!” after you’ve finished placing your order. I LOVE IT. Overall I would say these guys are very comparable to the well known and liked Red Swan Pizza chain, as they share a lot of the same well liked qualities and similarities. I would DEFINITELY recommend giving these guys a try. In time, once more people discover the pizza here, I definitely think this business will grow to thrive like some of the other well known pizza places here on the North Side. Once you meet the husband and his happy, energetic spirit wears off on you; there’s absolutely no way you walk away from this place not wanting to...

Terrible pizza place, Why? i have ordered from them twice, buying 2 pizza's each time, BOTH times and BOTH pizza's were not made correctly, on 3 of the Pizza's they did not follow their OWN recipes , and when the pizza's were delivered they were missing ingredients that i paid for, and the last time i ordered through skip the dishes, i ordered a buffalo Chicken Pizza with no onions, and i even called them and spoke to the guy to make sure they didn't put onions in the Pizza, well guess what, they loaded it with onions and for me made it Inedible, i took one bite and realized i couldn't eat it, so i called them and told them what the problem was, they guy told me i could get a refund, so the next day in the Afternoon i brought back the WHOLE 14" Buffalo chicken pizza, loaded with onions which i told them not to do, and they only offered me a 75% refund.. which i took cause i dont even want to deal with them again, also, they do their "OWN" delivery, not going through skip the dishes but they ask you to give them your credit card number over the phone....which is "SCAMMY and UNPROFFESIONAL".. Over all a SHADY and TERRIBLE PIZZA , PLACE.....if you are willing to accept all these things...their Pizza's are actually pretty good....if only they could make them properly following...

Ordered on skip and instead of calling to let us know they were out of chocolate cake and get it replaced with something else we wanted or get a refund they took it upon themsleves to replace it with strawberry cheese cake but i cant even have it because im allergic to it. As someone who has worked in food service it is first call customer and check for replacements incase of food allergies and so you dont dissappoint customers. I was lowkey excited for this cake and now i have to be careful aroumd my food because strawberry jam leaked out of the box and onto my other food boxes. On top of the wings arent even that great kinda dry and Pizza was lack luster. Im never ordering from here again they dont seem to keep there customers happiness in mind. And cant even give a decent apology just said exuses on why they did what they did. I know stocks low i work in a kitchen but we call everytime were out of stock to make sure our customers enjoy their food we dont jut change their food because we think its whats best without...

Didnt feel like cooking, decided to order in and thought let’s try something different than ordering from a generic pizza place, definitely did not regret it. The pizza rolls are amazing and have so much flavor, the dough is not dry or chewy. The chicken bites are tender and cooked properly. (I did order salt and pepper chicken bites and personally think it would be nice if there was a bit more seasoning on them) I ordered the meat lovers pizza and it is very good pizza, toppings are good, lots of flavour, cheese is good but only issue I had, and this could easily have been because of Uber and the way technology is, I did order extra bacon and extra cheese for an extra charge and it just didn’t seem like there was the extra toppings. Will definitely recommend and try again in future.

I saw "Your Pizza Guy" on Groupon and decided it was a good opportunity for me to try it out. I called ahead to order my pizza. Upon arriving to pick it up, I was greeted by an enthusiastic young man behind the counter. The employees had my order ready on time and the young man shouted a "Thank you ma'am" as I headed out the door. My boyfriend and I ordered two medium pizzas - a meat lover and lemon garlic shrimp. Overall, they were not bad. The crust was crispy around the edges and the pizzas had the right amount of cheese. However, I'm just not sure that "Your Pizza Guy" would be at the top of my list if I wanted to satisfy a pizza craving. There is quite a bit of competition out there in the pizza arena!
