Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Edmonton

Wow has this location ever went downhill in the last few years infact once it switched owners its never been the same I actually stopped going there and switched to Bar Burrito....so today it was buy 1 get 1 free burrito day so I decided to give then another chance....I was there at 11:30am it had been open for an hour and NONE of their food looked fresh infact the guacamole was gross slimy and brown looking not fresh at all so I went without....the lady didn't seem impressed with the fact it was buy one get one free day at all she looked sour I watched her try to put less meat on the second burrito I had to tell her and insist she put more she reluctantly did....there was only 2 types of salsa the hot one that's orange in color was not there the guacamole was brown and slimy looking the corn was super dried out looking just gross presentation all around....when I got home and started to eat my first Burrito the ingredients were barely warm I'd go as far as to say cold the rice was old and hard tasting the meat was barely even an ingredient all I could taste was stale rice and wrap It was absolutely disgusting I threw the second burrito in the garbage it was that bad.....I will NEVER eat at this location again possibly never Mucho Burrito in general again....I couldn't see or even taste any meat in my burrito and the little bit I did taste was dried out and disgusting.....you guys should be embarrassed.....if you guys put your regular burrito vs Bar Burritos regular burrito you would see how pathetic your product really is....DO BETTER LIKE START TRYING if not for your customers at least for yourself have some pride in...

I like this place for having options for those with allergies but I've had a different experience every time I've been to this location. The first time through SkipTheDishes was traumatizing as I was given a burrito bowl with cheese after specifying a dairy allergy and NO cheese. They did not refund my money either. I decided to try again as my options for gf/df in Edmonton are limited - this time in store so they couldn't screw up my order. They were SO stingy with the portions! For some reason even if I asked for double meat (and paid for it as well) I was given the worlds smallest scoop. There was a few times that I actually went back and ordered a second bowl because mine was only half full. Now when I visit I HAVE to specify extra meat, extra rice/beans, extra sauce, etc. I find that a bit annoying and it's pretty obvious they just don't want to keep restocking the food. The food itself is ok in a pinch. Kind of dry meats and basically a run-down version of Chipotle which is a million times better. The barbecoa is the one I usually get and is listed as gluten free on their website however I was informed that it can't be guaranteed gluten free? I got it anyway and indeed got sick, although so did my boyfriend who doesn't even have allergies. All in all, this is a questionable location. I would go there if I had no other options but eat here at your...

I've been here last night (December 18th '22), cause my son wanted Mucho Burrito. This guy with turban, (I know you read this) that served us was cheap on rice, beans and meat as the main ingredient, especially. My son told him he wants more meat, so he put more but only as an extra meat. Final price was 20.7$! I paid, went out, then my son "said dad take a look on the size of this!" Mucho burrito with extra meat he got, was smaller then normal mucho burrito we used to get. I went back inside and told them that it's a shame that the price is all the time going up and the size of burrito is going down. I also said I will never come back again. This is either instructed from the owner or employees doing it so they secure free meal for theirselves. It must be one of it, you expect people to pay more then at any other fast food restaurants and when you cheat on them you think that they won't notice or say something. Reader if you really want burrito, order regular size, because with mucho size, you won't get what you are paying for. No wonder Mucho Burrito is closing locations all over Alberta and Canada. There will be more closures due to this way of treating of costumers. Avoid this place and choose something else to eat....
