My visit to Prime Time Donair & Poutine was nothing short of disappointing. From start to finish, the experience was marked by poor service, confusion, and a complete lack of professionalism. The front-of-house service was not only unfriendly but also unhelpful, with no effort made to assist in the ordering process or explain available options. When I paid with cash, I explained that I would return shortly with additional change. In the brief time I stepped out to get it, the staff inexplicably altered the total, forcing me to go out again. Despite being away for only a few seconds, they had already dumped my change on the counter, scattering it across an area larger than a food tray. When I attempted to clarify the mistake, I was met with nothing but attitude and zero apologies. At that point, I was so exasperated that I didn’t bother correcting the bill, which turned out to be an overcharge due to not receiving the combos we had ordered. The service was absolutely abysmal. The food offered little reprieve from the poor service. The donair topping options were severely limited to just lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The donair meat was a little dry, and something in it had a grainy texture that made it quite unpleasant to eat. The only positive note was the Volcano Beef Poutine, which was decent, but it wasn’t enough to redeem the overall experience. Given the consistently terrible service and disappointing food, there is nothing to be desired at Prime Time Donair & Poutine. I would strongly recommend heading to the Donair Shop down the road, which is incomparably better.

Picked up 2 regular donairs. Don't like sweet sauce so asked for tzatziki. Got home opened them neither looked or tested like there was any tzatziki sauce in them. I was half way through and opened the pita I could see something but could not taste it. For charging $1.00 more for tzatziki sauce. I think I should be able to at least see it. I called the guy who answered the phone said he made it and he loaded it with tzatziki. In the picture you can see what looks like could be tzatziki but loaded. I told him it was not and just hung up. I will not be a returning customer. Now about the actual donair. Not the worst but far from the best. They cut up the meat it's not sliced off a spit. It gives it an odd texture when you eat it.

1st & last time I’ll visit one of these places!!! I ordered 1 regular donair & 1 small Quebec poutine from a guy that who’s English is extremely hard to understand. So after 20 minutes I get 2 boxes of poutine! 1 with donair meat & sweet sauce on it. On the boulevard out front of the store and other places in the neighbourhood there are signs that say if you pickup you can get 20% off. Asked about it with an answer that it’s over!

Not surprised to see the recent low ratings. My mother and I had been coming here frequently the last couple months until last week. She ordered herself one of the biggest donairs as she usually does and I some box with rice, veggies, and bread with taziki sauce. The amount of what I got was small but the quality was even worse. The rice was hard, chicken was dry, for the salad portion there was more black olives than lettuce and onions and whatever else. Only good thing was the bread and sauce as they can’t mess that up. My mothers donair on the other hand was not made properly at all, she opened it up and said it looked like whoever made it mushed up all the ingredients and vomited it onto the bread, it was soggy and gross looking. Displeased she brought back both the items explaining to the cashier and the manager what the issue was. The managers response is of course “if you don’t like our food then maybe you shouldn’t come back”, my mother agreed explaining to them that they don’t have to worry.

The cashier then for some reason couldn’t give back my mothers money through card but had to give cash back because she doesn’t know how to do refunds on it? It didn’t make any sense but my mother took the money and left.

It wasn’t until the next morning my mother woke me up to tell me she looked at her bank statements and told me THIS restaurant charged us $56. We went back showed them the statements and they in return told us it was the banks issue not there’s as it says on their system it was only $26. Foolish and giving them the benefit of the doubt, we go to the bank where the bank teller tells us that they did indeed charge us that. We go back where the cashier called the manager and he starts telling us we have to wait until the following Monday for him to check to give up back our money because he wanted to make sure this is the right prime time we went to.

My mother of course lectured the people working there as there ignorance to not knowing how to use the register for either giving refunds or being able to search properly in the system is astonishing and of course they did not care.

We then waited till Monday where the manager called and said he acknowledged that that money was taken out and that he would send the rest of the money back to her account as they don’t want her wasting her time coming back. (Pretty sure it’s because they don’t want to deal with her face to face) No apology on his behalf was made.

Absolutely horrendous experience. Why do you leave people in charge who are inexperienced? You do realize having workers wrongfully charge someone a random price can cost you your store? You probably still have her working there without any question/reprimanding/ or more training.

My mother is older and has bad eyesight, she couldn’t see what she was being charged on the machine as she trusted in your worker. You think we trust people but truly we can’t. They choose to rob and lie.

Shame on the owner/manager for allowing such things to happen, quality of food, service, hiring workers who purposely or accidentally wrongfully charge double amount for atrocious food.

All I can say is watch what you are paying if you dare step foot in this establishment.

Edit: After reading some reviews a lot of people are experiencing the same thing of being charged for the wrong order/ bad food/ small portions. All of the 5 stars are definitely friends and family, there’s no way. 💀 keep this up and you won’t be...

Regret ever coming to this place. Me and my GF went in for a meal and asked for a small donair, mega donair meal, and baclava. She gets me to pay and only put the mega meal. So I told her I wanted the small donair and baclava as well. She then put it’s in and makes it a meal and doesn’t add baclava. Ended up paying for the wrong food twice.

I seriously don’t understand how someone doesn’t hear the order after repeating it multiple times. When we got the food, they didn’t even make the small a meal they just put a drink with it, no fries, no baclava either. Then when we asked for it she didn’t know what it was. They gotta know the stuff on the menu.

Feel robbed after paying for everything too. Costs a gross amount and the the size of the food is so small compared to the one on 50th street

All the reviews on here are lies and not actually people who have attended. “Great place to hangout with friends and family” what a joke.

Only thing I will give credit too is how clean it was but probably just because it’s a new place. Won’t be going back and hope you...
