That’s the Jasper Gates Subway on the south side of Stony Plain Rd between 150 St & 151 St. New owner/manager counter person is a M.O.N.S.T.E.R. Rude, abusive and CHEAP!! Subway reimburses their stores for coupons and sales. 1st - no soup- they’d run out 2nd - no cheese and herb bread, actually said white only but they did have multi grain - again, because they’d run out Used a coupon, he put less than half the meat on and only half the cheese. I didn’t say anything, just waited to see what he would do. He pretended like he was playing by the rules. Ha!! Asked for bacon to be crispy and grease absorbed by paper towel. He tried to act like he didn’t know what we meant. When I explained he mocked me like I was the ignorant boobie. When I asked for double tomato he added A single, small slice. When I said “double” he flipped out said he’d already given me double. At that I said that the sub came with double cheddar and he’d barely put on half that he yelled that it was because they were out of cheddar. 3rd - out of cheddar - so it’s ok to give you less than half of the cheaper crap cheese Too bad google only allows one star or more ratings this place should be minus 5. Not going back. Took pics of the MEATLESS turkey club with bacon. Paid $20 for a foot long plus 6” that had 6 HALF slices of turkey, 6 HALF slices of ham and 5 strips of bacon - that was over the foot long and the 6” altogether -and only a half serving of cheese instead of the double cheddar. I was going to order on the app but didn't have my credit card handy so decided to just stop in instead since the coupon didn't say anything about it being online only. It applied on the app no problem but when I went in store the young woman working said I wasn't allowed to use it. I put in my number and she started the transaction which I canceled. She asked if I canceled and I said yes, I had a coupon to scan. She said they don't accept them without even seeing the coupon. When I asked why she said she wasn't sure but that's what her manager told her. I wasn't even going to go to subway tonight but specifically went because I had a coupon so I was rather disappointed, especially because I called a franchise owner I know elsewhere and they said it shouldn't have been rejected. Also I know it's difficult when you are the only one working and you have a few customers, but at the very least, gloves should be changed when going from touching the till to the sandwich unit. Husband went to pick up at the agreed time only to be told by a very rude employee that there was no order. He showed her a screen shot of the order confirmation and tried to show her the actual confirmation email but she just kept saying there was no order and refused to even look. Would not help in any way. Was extremely rude and incompetent. He left without the two subs that I'd paid for through the app because she wouldn't even try to investigate the issue. I checked my bank and I have been charged for something I never received. 6 hours later it still shows the charge. There is no refund. They took my money fraudulently. I will be seeking legal action. Be careful using this location! Obviously there is some scam going on where they take customers money but do not give you what you paid for.
