TacoTime — Restaurant in Edmonton

Not even sure where to begin with this location.

Let's see, terrible service, food and atmosphere. One star is generous. My friend and I were having a pleasant day and looking forward to a great feed of taco time. Instead, we had a feed of something alright.

Our biggest issue, the customer service. What started off of as being polite turned into a complete embarrassment. We asked for four beef tacos, two mexi fries and two.medium drinks. My friend paid for the meal at which point we noticed that they had a cheaper deal posted on the wall that was the same. I mentioned this to the staff politely. The older ladies response? Putting her hand up to me, cutting me off and addressing the next customer. I tried to keep my cool and said ok I will try to get her attention again. When I brought up my concern, she snapped at me that she wouldn't give me that price and stormed to the back ignoring me. I was in shock. I then went to go get our food. She came storming out of nowhere, tossed the refund in change on the food tray rather aggressively and ripped the poster off the wall aggressively too. Took everything in me to keep my composure but I told her we didn't appreciate the attitude. She should not be an employee at this location. No excuses. My friend and I will never be back at this location. The poor lady who was making the food was embarassed and I said she was not to blame but it was the other staff member. I could tell this was an ongoing issue. Having read the reviews, my theory was proven correct. The older ladies behaviour was abusive and has no place in a public setting where customers are being served.

As for the food, hard pass. Lackluster ingredients, warm pop with no ice and tator tots that I wouldn't feed my dog.

This location needs an overhaul. Highly advise no one give this location business until some serious changes are made. This seems to be a re-occuring theme and I will be contacting corporate as well. Very unwelcoming to customers and will end up costing future business to Taco Time.

Would not recommend. I do not have high expectations but this is not th le first taco time we have ate at. Food: $58:00 We ordered super beef burritos and mexi-fry deluxe. The burritos were not edible. The lettuce was brown and soggy, no cheese and very little sour cream. Mexi fry deluxe was no better, no cheese and it was cold. The taste was very ‘off’. Not sure if they use a different recipe? If so, it is not what we have had at this franchise before.

Service: the representative at the front til, sat on his phone paying no attention to customers.

Atmosphere: located in the mall food court. It was clean and lots of room. There however was the smell of sewer. This would not be at the fault of taco time. The atmosphere of the restaurant it’s self I have rated low, as it really did feel like we inconvenienced...

HORRABLE!!!!! Something that was so simple to fix, they create a way bigger issue! A silly burrito was missed in my order. When I phoned to tell them and see about getting my stupid burrito, they had the nerve to tell me, I was wrong. They I must have been mistaken. I then told them, no I am absolutely sure my burrito was not in my bag. They then continued to yell and tell me I was lying. Are you kidding me right now! It was a burrito.... something that could have easily been fixed, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I then spoke with the manager. And she then told me I was wrong... NEVER NEVER EVER WILL I GO BACK. I know I am only one person.. but still un real. Worst...
