We came here to try to feel human after my 30th birthday last night. Walking through the doors I was hit with a nostalgic aroma of my biological dad who abandoned me at a young age. I knew we were in the right place. A couple older fellas playing pool and regulars at the wood, we had found our way home. My partner got the classic breakfast and I got the breakfast wrap. Both 9$ before noon which is such a steal. It did not affect the quality, both of us loved our food. Not to mention the brewhouse Pilsner almost all of us were drinking. My boyfriend says it’s the perfect camping beer though, I wouldn’t know because my father abandoned me at a young age. Rhonda made me a Caesar that made me realize that the hangover from my 30th birthday will likely be the start of the greatest years of my life. She was lovely and patient with us ordering all of our hangover liquids and hot sauce request, she knows all her regulars names and is so friendly. You go girl. I want to buy her a wine cooler. I love you Bonald. See you soon.

If you’re not hungry when you walk into The Bonnie, don’t worry, they’ll fix that. I ordered the beef dip sandwich and fries and it came out looking like a food challenge on TV. The sandwich was so good I considered writing it a thank you card. Juicy beef, perfect bun, and an au jus that I’d happily drink from a coffee mug if society wouldn’t judge me. And the fries? Crispy perfection, made even better with their thick, delicious gravy. If potatoes had a Hall of Fame, these would have their own wing. Huge portions too—I had so much food in front of me I briefly wondered if I’d accidentally adopted a family of four. 10/10 would recommend The Bonnie, just make sure you wear stretchy pants.

Two meals were outstanding, one was the Irish salad, which was a new one for me and it was fresh and flavourful. Also a generous serving. The other was Butter chicken and it was a pleasant suprise! Sometimes its a gamble with BC but this one is a winner. I love the new spot! Come in and see for yourself.

What a great little neighbourhood pub! Lots going on here with all kinds of different activities each night. Big TVs with sports, pool tables, darts - the works! The Big Fella at the door (Ammon) is absolutely fantastic - what a sweetheart! Sometimes door guys can be d1ckheads but he seems like he’s genuinely interested in making sure everyone has a great time there! (That said - I don’t know that I’d wanna see him really mad…..) Staff and service here is excellent too - it’s got a real home style vibe with a bunch of regulars who are all cool. DEFINITELY a solid option for a neighborhood pub without it being ridiculously busy. Great menu as well - loads of options that are prepared and presented exceptionally well for a very reasonable price. Neat history for the pub along with great staff, friendly patrons and a tasty menu - it’s...

That was the best steak and ale pie that I have ever had... This side of the Atlantic or the other. My husband also makes one and I like it better than his which I would never tell him because he's quite proud of his.. We waited a little bit of time for it, and I was wondering why because I thought they would just have to cut a piece of pie off and microwave it... But no. They made the stew earlier in the day I'm sure and then they put hot stew in a dish and then put fresh pie crust over top and baked it for me... The result was a nice crispy crust that I could almost break apart and use as a dip for my stew. I will not forget that one! We are very fussy about our food and this was absolutely tremendous. Thank you, and we...
