Just went in there for "Taco Tuesday" ..Even though there was plenty of staff and I was the only one at the counter, I still had to wait a good 4-5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Upon receiving my order I noticed that there was only about 12 mexi- fries on the plate ..when I mentioned this the manager replied "that's all it comes with Sir..if you would like more you'll have to pay extra". My response was no I don't wish to pay extra I simply want a full order of your fries, not a half order..Then she ( the manager) said "would you like your money back then?"..I replied yes indeed I would, and in addition you've also lost a long standing customer over a few mexi- fries. Her response was "no problem"..I have to say that I was a bit taken aback by all of this..all of us are to some degree feeling the strain of increasing prices on just about everything, and dining out has become far less frequent for some due to this burden we are all facing to some degree..As a business owner myself I would never dismiss customers concerns no matter how trivial they might be, It doesn't take a person with an IQ of a 3 minute egg to realize that in our ever changing world your customers are more valuable than ever, and only a fool would alienate them. Bottom line ..over few cents this manager has lost untold revenue from not only myself, but also countless others who will read this review and decide to take a pass on this Taco Time..tsk tsk..the epitome of bad management...
Read moreI'm not typically one to complain but today's experience was just too much not to. We are longtime customers at the Mayfield location but after today that will end. I have ordered many times by using the drive-through and taking the order home and occasionally an item ordered had been missed. Not a big deal as it was usually an order of Mexi-fries or a taco. We would usually call and let them know what was missed and they would thank us and offer to replace the item or items on next visit. But it's become more frequent and today they made a huge mistake! Just too much to take anymore. I picked up our order through the drive-through and drove home to Spruce Grove. Once home I opened up the bag and realized the main items were missing!! 2 burritos and a hard shell taco. Basically half our meal. What really hurts is that I paid for the entire order and half of it was missing! No more excuses for such incompetence. At the minimum I will be looking for the entire order to be replaced and a full refund for the inconvenience as it's about a 25 minute drive in from Spruce Grove to the west end of Edmonton. After years of dealing with this location...
Read moreIf i could give this a zero star I would. I went with my grandma and mom. I normally dont ever write reviews but this ticked me off. Took such a long time just to have cold soggy food. Ordered a large but got a regular size mexi fries deluxe was charged for a large. Ordered a Doritos el cruncho and had no Doritos in it at all. Served and gave the food to two costumers after us, and kept talking in their own language. Im not racist but in your work place you talk like that on your break, not when your serving people. Thats what its supposed to be in any place of employment. no matter what language you speak. ON TOP of all of that they were not sanitary at all. Your supposed to use a scoop for the ice with any restaurant (i used to work for one its a part of food safety laws) and yet the worker proceeded to just dunk the cup into the ice maker touching all the ice in the process. As well as sang to the radio instead of taking orders. The worker was short and ignored us the entire time. I will not be...
