Management needs a SERIOUS overhaul. My partner and I stopped at BPs in Mayfield Common tonight for dinner quickly…and this is not our first time here. The service was slow, and but that is not at all what I am writing my review about. When it finally came time to pay, we realized our server had totally forgotten about us… the manager (I later found out she was the manager when I asked the lovely young lady who ended up taking our payment and apologizing for her managers behaviour) wanders over to get our payment with a machine that says “tap only”. My Partner goes to tap his apple wallet on his phone it does nothing so I grab my wallet and get my card (just on the off chance that Apple Wallet is not working) and this woman, she snaps at me “your card won’t work it’s a TAP ONLY MACHINE” in the rudest tone. I was like “I have tap, thanks.” I try, the machine again- does nothing. She sighs, and goes “I have to go look for the other machine sometimes this one doesn’t work right.” We watch her walk off, and wait 5-6 minutes as she comes back eventually with the same machine and says “it’s not working there’s an atm next door I don’t know what you want from me. I GUESS you can try again.” I said to her “If it’s not working, then what’s the point of trying the same machine again?” because I am genuinely curious if this machine isn’t working, why she didn’t bring the other one she said she would be bringing back. She THROWS HER HANDS UP IN THE AIR and SNAPS at us again “I DON’T CARE GO GET CASH” and she storms off in a huff. Not even a minute later, we pay a younger lovely girl who has come up to us with a different machine that works flawlessly. Before we leave, I asked the young girl who takes our payment if the woman who was snapping at us so rudely was a manager, and after I’ve found out that the lady who was snapping at us is indeed the manager of the location I’m sitting here in disbelief.
So, to the owner of this location, your manager Lindsay or whichever her name is- whoever was managing on July 3rd…. She needs some SERIOUS customer experience training. The way in which you spoke to us, treated us, was abhorrent. You should be ashamed. I left absolutely appalled and disturbed that the experience we had was...
Read moreWe went there to celebrate the graduation day of my daughter but the whole day was ruined because of the experience. We checked in during the lunch time and was served by this lady. To start off the plates we were given for our meals were a little bit dirty. We told her that the plates are dirty and she responded with rolling eyes and saying that there were not dirty. We found it a bit odd but didn't really pursue it and went on to order the food which was ok.. we did order some pops and asked the server to refill it after a while. She almost poured it onto my hand as well as food. It felt a bit awkward but we ignored as we were happy and celebrating the graduation. We asked her to remove some of the water glass we have asked for earlier and were again looked upon as we asked her for her dear life. She said something under her breath which seems like she was saying that why did you ordered it in first place. At that time we had enough and decided to report. My daughter was paying the bill and had some issues with the POS system, Instead of helping this lady asked if she was trying to bypass the tips. During our exit from the restaurant I started the conversation with the lady there at the reception but this lady came running again and started arguing. I asked her to call the manager to which she responded that she is the manager. I simply went out of the restaurant. This lady was so arrogant and make us feel really uncomfortable to the extent that we decided not to visit Boston's pizza again. I know it doesn't really matter to such a big chain but just thought of letting...
Read moreThis is right up there with one of the worst run bps I have come across. We came and sat down in the bar area. There were four tables that were occupied and the rest was all empty. One of the four was a table filled with staffin uniform. Remember this part, it's important. It took 10 minutes for anyone to notice we walked in for them to give us menus and ask what we would like to drink. In the entire bar area, the loudest and most obnoxious was the table full of staff. Sure this is fine, maybe they had a hard day and needed to blow off steam, but incessantly loud for a room that was otherwise empty? Unnecessary. I also don't know of another dining establishment That allows their staff to remain in uniform and drink. Nothing against drinking after work, but in uniform? Not the best optics. Mix that in with the obnoxious and unnecessary volume filled with useless banter... You get a restaurant with no standards or value. Good thing we had a friendly waitress. The jambalaya was average but the baked lasagna was served in a way that was different from other locations. It looked like it was scooped and placed on the plate, sprinkled cheese and then melted it a bit. Instead of being in a high walled bowl topped with grated cheese and melted till golden brown. Taste was average. The server was nice enough to bring out more sauce because it was lacking. Unsure why BP changed plates. She was also nice enough to comp the lasagna. She understands good service and that this small hit will retain loyalty, even though none of it...
