Very disappointing. I placed an order on their website, picked it up, drove home and opened up the order only to find shrimp instead of the chicken dish that I ordered. I called back and they told me to come and pickup the right order. I came back to the restaurant, gave them the shrimp dish back (they said I could keep it, but I can't eat shrimp so it was useless to me) and took the right order (which I confirmed was chicken this time) and went home. I've had their food once before at a friends house and it was delicious. This time was not the case. It was missing something and the vegetables were barely cooked and I do mean BARELY. Also, it was missing something compared to the first time I had it. I think my first order had green onion and this order had no green onion whatsoever. It's a shame because my first experience with their food was amazing and the second all round experience was horrible. While the woman who answered the phone was apologetic and polite they didn't offer to do anything for me since they messed up my order. I had to drive 15 minutes each way to correct their mistake. No money back, no coupon for my next order - NOTHING! If I owned a business and inconvenienced a customer to the point where they had to drive back and waste 30 minutes of their time to fix my error I'd give them their meal for free as compensation for my incompetence. But these people did N-O-T-H-I-N-G and, as a result I won't be back. Not handling a situation properly has consequences that will cost you far more business than the trivial amount you would have paid to apologize for your incompetence. I'm not too sure if an owner was too cheap to do the right thing or the employees are not empowered to offer proper customer service. I'd like to support small, local business, but not when it costs me more time and money because of mistakes. CHECK YOUR ORDER...
Read moreThis is normally one of our favorite restaurants, but this last visit was so bad that I had to comment. I attempted to communicate with our server, but was not successful. Her English was poor. Everything started out fine. There was one table of two seated when the four of us walked in. We placed our orders within 10 minutes. The jasmine tea arrived a few minutes AFTER the first plate arrived. The red curry dish, sat in front of my son for 15 minutes before my plate arrived. So, since our wives food hasn't yet arrived, there's now two of us with our meals in front of us. I went to the counter to talk to our waitress to remind her that there was four of us seated together and that we wanted to eat at the same time. I got the smiles and the head nods, but no explanation as to what was going on. So, Strike 1! The plates the once had HOT, food on it was served on Ice Cold plates. Who does that? Strike 2 My wife's dish, while tasty had raw broccoli and mushrooms. So, there's the third strike. Disappointing. Of course the waitress never did ask us how our meals were. She knew. We did notice that the Skip the Dishes orders were keeping them busy, so, maybe that's the way to go. Take Out, because the Sit Down dining sure sucked last night. What really bothers me, is that these people will not take the time to respond...
Read moreThe taste is okay. A little too sweet to be called "authentic". (I've had Thai food in Thailand multiple times)
Here's what bothered me tho:
Frozen vegetables Undercooked onions Small portions of meat, therefore really pricey Chopped up Rice noodles (not fresh whatsoever)
I had ordered thick rice noodle dish, and it came out all butchered up, so I had genuinely asked the waitress if it was normal for the rice noodle to be chopped in little pieces, and she responded that it was...
Totally.. disappointing, because even Thai Express uses fresh rice noodles that are thick, perfectly al dente.
The waitress apologized, but didn't offer anything back in return..
Here's a genuine and candid feedback to the Thai Flavours Team :
-Please don't use frozen vegetables to stir fry, that's just poor quality.
-Make sure your onions are cooked unless you're putting red onions in a sandwich..
-Don't reuse your noodles. Use them fresh... It doesn't cost you much to use new rice noodles.
-If your customer doesn't like your food, make something to retain them. A new customer always costs more than losing one.
-You've got some good taste, but you guys butchered the rest.
Thanks for your time for reading this review. Hopefully, you take these comments into...
