Firezone Pizza & Donair — Restaurant in Edmonton

We’ve gotten everything from their donairs, pizzas to wings and have yet to be disappointed. This is my go-to place for donairs in the city. I always get the regular size, which is huge, so I can’t imagine how big the large donairs would be. The meat is done well, veggies are fresh and the sweet sauce is great.

We’ve had their pizza a couple of times and so far our favourite is the Garlic Chicken. Very nice crust, white sauce a toppings.

My wife loves the wings from Firezone - the Teriyaki and BBQ sauce ones are her favourites.

If you like onion rings, they are done very well here - even after the 15 minute drive home, they were still mostly crispy.

As always, their service is fantastic. The previous time I ordered from them, I called but no-one answered - I figured they were busy - and a couple of minutes later they called me back to see if I wanted to place an order. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I moved from Southside to Westside and was in need of a great spot, and I think i lucked out big time.

My cousins are donair enthusiasts, and I tried every place they tried to find the best: primetime, nisku, Beaumont, southside. Hands down Firezone pizza & Donair is by far the best. I've only had regular cheese beef donair, small fries, gravy, and a can of pop. It was near $20. If I got the same order at primetime, it would be close to $50.

The fries and gravy remind me of the old restaurant superfoods in Ponoka, AB. I will definitely be back to try the other menu options. The service was excellent, very polite, and professional. The portions were astonishing, and the prices are fair.

Have lived across the road from Firezone for 6 years and had never tried it. Stopped in about a month ago to try the donair and was very impressed. Flavor was amazing and promised them we would be back to try the pizza. Stopped in to order pizza to go, got home and pizza was hands down the best I have ever had. I was a die hard Monty's Pizza fan, which is good pizza, but FireZone has hit the proverbial "ball out of the park" with theirs. Crust was simply the best, soft but not under cooked and with just the right amount of "crunch", sauce was the perfection of flavor. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding food that actually has flavor. The staff are friendly and will answer all your questions without the usual "umm I don't know" responses you get from so many other food places. 2 thumbs up to FireZone Pizza !
