I would give zero star if I could. Worst customer service I have ever seen. Every time when I ask for sausage instead of bacon, they give me bacon. Why would you ask then?
This morning around 0620, they finally got the order right and gave me sausage, but then they failed to scan my Tim card properly. I wasn’t able to use the coupon on my phone or get points for my order. The lady at the counter refuse to admit that she made a mistake.
The lady refused to talk to me at the drive-through and told me to come in to the store, and then she kept arguing with me. When I asked to talk to the supervisor, she just kept ignoring me and refused to call the supervisor right away. I was almost late for work for this, and the coupon only cut price for 1 dollar. After talking to her for about 5 min, I told her that 1 dollar is not worth the time for arguing, but I will make an official complain to both her supervisor and the Tim Hortons customer service, then she suddenly changed her mind and gave me the 1 dollar refund.
1 dollar is nothing, but this incident really make me feel that there is a lack of professionalism and responsibility here. When you work in the field of customer service, you should know better. Get the orders right and scan the card properly are very basic and easy to do.
This store is close to where I live, so I will continue to come here. However, I sincerely suggest the supervisor to do some employee training on providing customer service. I really like Tim Hortons, and I come here to pick up food every time before I go for work. I always trusted them with my order and never asked questions before I pay, but from now on I will considering double check before I pay and after I scan the card. I hope this never happen again.
(PS: Bacon does not taste bad, it’s just too oily for me. Also, the iced Capp tasted very watery here, is it supposed to be watery instead of flush-y? I remembered that it used to taste like iced flush, but the one I got this morning is...
Read moreWorst experience I've ever had. Donuts are always over done, my drinks are always made incorrectly. I thought it might just be because I have to have mine specially made(diabetic) but recently anytime my bf has gotten his normal, off the menu drink, it's been completely incorrect. Still I've given them the benefit of the doubt. It's the Tim's that's closest to me since I moved. So after receiving my order, I'll quickly check our drinks to make sure they're correct. And while doing so, they rudely shoo me, tell me "bye." Over and over until I leave, etc. Today I finally explained that I've received improperly made drinks a lot so I'm checking to make sure they're what I've paid for. They rolled their eyes and slammed the drive thru window. Well low and behold, the normal, made off the menu drink was wayyyy wrong. So I stayed in the drive thru, when they finally noticed me the woman said "what are you waiting for?" I expressed that the drink was wrong, and if I could be refunded for it, I'd get something else. She told me to come back later cuz they have a line now. One car had pulled up behind me. One. Finally I was sick of how rude she was being, I'm a paying customer too. I am in the line too. So I told her its not my fault they don't take their jobs seriously enough to do it right and I'd like my refund. To which she responded "the person who knows how to do refunds is on a break so I'll have to come back later. There were 5 other employees standing there with her. I don't like to complain about service, I've worked in customer service, I know sometimes you have tougher days, etc. But after giving this place and multiple different employees a chance time and time again and seeing that they all pretty much behave the same way everytime, I have no choice. I've never felt more screwed over. Which I know sounds dramatic, but damn. Train the staff better, stay on top of the attitudes, take all the negative reviews into account....
Read moreThis place is consistently poor!! As anyone can see from my reviews I prefer not to highlight poor service but to shout out about stellar service. Sadly, I can no longer overlook the rudeness and utterly incomprehensibly poor service at this location. I love Tim’s coffee so I am there a lot. With an attitude of rude petulance when I made a friendly inquiry I was recently told that they can not tell me if there are nuts in the bran muffins because the baker is unable to speak or hear. I 100% support employment for all regardless of challenges but the store has a responsibility to provide information to customers with allergies and if they are unable to communicate with their baker then they need to look it up online or in their own literature - it is not rocket science people!! I could look it up myself, too, but this is just one example of the inexplicable things they say to me as though this is a perfectly reasonable response to my question. Mostly, I get caffeinated coffee when I ask for decaf or else I wait to get the rest of my order but they are rudely waving me to drive away and I have to ask for the rest of my order. There are no pleasantries, mostly no words said to me at all - not even a smile and a nod when I pay and pick up (and I am a very smiley person so a reply smile or even a nod would be in order). These people either do not want to work there or they are too heavily burdened to be anything but rude and abrupt. Very sad. If you can avoid this location I recommend that you do so. (The one inside Southgate Centre mall is great as is the one in South Common.). [PS The response from the owner on these reviews asks that you review via their website, however, if you do not get a paper receipt (have never been given one at the drive thru) you are unable to fill out the form!! More utter...
