McDonald's — Restaurant in Essa

On October 15th I was at this establishment with my partner, we ordered food in an empty waiting area, behind us came in a few people ordering different things all receiving their food in good time. While we wait and watch drive thru be handed bag after bag, and our burgers that the wonderful young lady who took our order made right after taking our order, for it to sit in a bag not in the warm station out side of it. Watching them load bags out for drive thru 5 different orders of fries, our burgers still sitting. So after watching that for 10 minutes I questioned why were waiting on a single large fry? They said they were waiting for fresh. Cool but that was never the case. Because the fries I took home after waiting for 10+ minutes were not fresh and it was full enough to be a medium not a large in which I paid for. The behavior of the young man that was suppose to be dealing with handing food out to customers inside was disgusting, the behavior is childish. And after this experience I don't think I'll ever step foot back in here. Which is sad, cause I originally thought this was one of the best locations I've been to in years. Customers pay for their food, so making their quickly made burgers wait to be cold to be sent out with fries that were supposed to be large and "fresh" were not even touched because they were hard and cold. I contacted the store that night because I couldn't believe it myself. They said they give me a meal, can't trust that it would actually be safe to eat unless the young woman who took our order made it because her service was impeccable! I travel all around the GTA and this is by far the worst managed and worst McDonalds I’ve been to. It could be the smallest order like tonight and they park you to wait. Every .. single .. time I go to this location I get parked. Absolutely horrible service. They park you every time even for the smallest order, like tonight i ordered 2 McDoubles and they wanted to park me and it’s always the saddest most pathetic excuse “we are backed up” yet you have staff huddled around chit chatting doing nothing. This is McDonalds no ?? The biggest fast food chain in the world. Have food ready and prepared. It was Friday 6:30pm and they act surprised they are busy. I worked at Wendy’s in high school and we prepared ourselves for different times of the day when we knew when it’d be busy and not busy. Always had the food cooked and fresh ready to go fresh. If the food went to waste then oh well. It’s only a billion dollar corporation and there is waste counts. Just poor management and poor attitude when I get frustrated for having to go park and wait for 2 McDoubles and I get attitude for expressing my concerns. But I guess it is 2023 and there is no work ethic these days. It was definitely worth driving back to Barrie to get a delicious spicy chicken from Wendy’s. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. First I'd like to apologize to the young manager from Sunday, April 16, 2017. I was a bit too harsh on him. However, I do need to call him out on his response to me. I've been a loyal customer for the last 2 years. However, every single time I drive through, I'm asked to wait at the waiting spot. It gets frustrating to be have to deal with this every single time. It doesn't even matter what the order is. One time it's "we're waiting on the Angus burger", the next it's the nuggets, and then the hash browns. The manager explained that they ensure they provide a quality product. Today's order was lukewarm. The single hash brown they claimed they were waiting on was cold. The burgers they serve are a sloppy mess, with pickle and tomato flopping out from one end and sauce oozing out from the other. The patty is half out of the bun. This is the quality product this manager was speaking of. I hope this review doesn't fall on deaf ears, at least so that they can implement some improvements. For my part, I've decided I've had enough. Never have I been asked to wait at the Dairy Queen down the street or the Wendy's over on Dunlop and the product is quality. I'm done with this place for...
