Crystal Beach Catering — Restaurant in Fort Erie

We are staying in Crystal Beach just around the corner from this lovely corner shop. It has everything - Dufflet pastries, nice coffee, fresh fruit and salad to go, and then a wide array of skin and sun care products, beach-themed things, souvenirs, etc. It's so lovely and I've spent an embarrassing amount of money there this week, mostly on Dippin Dots.

One thing to note, and a way that sets businesses apart from one another, is that we are visiting with our four children, including my 11 year old son with severe intellectual disability. The person who has been working in the store the most since we've arrived is incredibly patient, kind, and welcoming to him (which, believe it or not, is unique) and one of the major reasons we've been back so much. I love to support inclusive, welcoming businesses like this one. Great work, Crystal Beach Mercantile.

I visited this spot in August 2022. Came back with a friend, and the interior has changed a bit since my last visit, but still a great selection of local products. Different kinds of olive oil.
