Cosmos Pizza and Donair (Downtown) — Restaurant in Fort McMurray

This was my family's go to pizza place since the 80s. And we always loved it. Family all came back to town for a couple days and we decided to get cosmos for dinner because it's always been everyone's favorite pizza place. But heard it was under new management and got a little worried. We were right to be. They have increased the price on most if not all items and severely reduced the quality. They have also completely removed some options off the menu. The sauce was almost non existant and the bit that was there tasted like it came from a jar. And the crust was completely changed as well tasted like delliso almost. The large pizza is also the size of what used to be a medium but price was still increased. To their credit the way the toppings were put on seemed to still be the same. Salad was obviously old and left out completely soggy by the time it made it to us. ALSO no deliveries when I called in so we had to order through skip and pay their extra premiums. Very very disappointing this was in my opinion the best pizza in the country but now I would even prefer a chain like dominos over it. I will stick with OJ's...

Placed a phone order of pizza and wings at 530 p.m. I was told it would be ready about 610 as they were changing the oil for the wings. Arrived at 615 and the sign said open but the door was locked. Tried calling twice and no answer either time. Tried calling other location and was told that the owners werent the same. Waited in my car for a few minutes and then someone arrived, unlocked the door, and went inside. When I went to pick up the order, I was told 5-10 more min because the order was half ready. Anyway, almost 25 min later my order was ready. Please be honest with your customers and tell the truth - that the order wasn't ready or even started which would give the customer the choice to wait or go elsewhere. Also, don't take orders if nobody is there to prepare orders and not be truthful by saying it would take longer because of changing the oil. I ordered the 2 for 1 pizza along with some salt and pepper wings. The pizza was delicious, my favourite being the pepperoni and green pepper. I forgot to ask to have the wings cooked extra crispy, the way they should be, but often aren't. These were done to perfection, cooked right through and no rubbery skin to be found anywhere.
