Edo Japan — Restaurant in Fort McMurray

Asked for 3 large bowls of just noodles. There was a bowl on the counter with food in it and I said 3 of that size of just noodles. So she charged me 3 sides of ramen noodles. Then the cook pulled out 3 small bowls. I said no small bowl I want 3 of that large bowl of ramen noodles. She said that side of ramen is half the size of the large bowl. I said ok I want 6 sides then. She then charged me 6 sides of ramen noodles. I then realized I paid for 9 sides of ramen noodles and said I didn’t want that much food. She then didn’t understand English and no longer talked to me. I couldn’t get a refund. Gave me 3 large bowls overflowing with noodles that she mashed down with a lid to fit in the bowl. Didn’t give me any napkins, cutlery, or...

I had ordered a chicken/beef yakosabi. Sumo sized. Extra veggies. And after receiving it. It was small. So i paid an additional $3.50 to get double meat.

I had came home and my meal was so small. Very little meat. And literally 2-3 teaspoons worth of teriyaki sauce in a tiny plastic container.

After calling. No manager was there. “Ann” whom answered the phone would not take my message to pass to the manager nor my number. I was told come tomorrow when he’s in.

Absolutely horrible. And insulted how unprofessional “Ann” was.

I strongly no not recommend this location to anyone. I have ate at Edo numerous times and this is the first and last time i will be wasting money at this...

i saw a new special, Japanese curry chicken. I've eaten teriyaki chicken at edo for decades and i love Japanese curry so.. this should be a slam dunk, right!?

WRONG. it was disgusting. don't order it ever. the rice was a big slimy clump. the curry sauce tasted weird, not like normal Japanese curry. the veggies were tasteless, carrots + potatoes undercooked + underseasoned. they were also strangely sour. probably trying to be pickled but gosh everything tasted horrific
