This has got to be the worst McDonald's in all of Alberta. They always screw up my orders (I order a McDouble and get a bun with cheese and no meat, I order a regular McChicken and get a spicy one, I order McMuffins and end up with McGriddles. I don't know if they just don't pay attention when they are putting things in bags or what). Their fountain pop tastes watered down or weird a lot of the time too. I normally at least have a decent customer service experience, but today's experience was absolutely the worst. They had a very "special" lady working the drive-through.I'm staring at my app that says "$1 cone." There's a big sign on a pole saying "$1," and she sat there arguing with me, insisting it was "$2." I asked her to cancel the order to try to start the order again, and she started arguing with me that she couldn't. After a few minutes, she said, "One minute," and she must not have muted her mic because we could hear her muttering crap under her breath and a huge sigh. She came back and rudely asked for the code again. As I was giving her my code, my daughter asked me why the lady was being so rude, and she was right. The lady was acting completely unacceptably, so I asked to speak to her manager, who absolutely could not have cared less. They refused to give me the employee's name so that I could make a complaint against her, stating that they are not able to provide the names of employees (even though they wear name tags so that people can see their names). Since I have no name and the manager obviously could have cared less I will post my complaint here where at least others...
   Read moreIt took nearly 30 minutes for a simple hotcakes happy meal (2), a hotcakes meal, and an egg BLT bagel sandwich, all of which was ordered at a kiosk inside for takeout. The restaurant was not busy at all with nobody lined up to place orders at the till or the kiosks. The drive thru had a few cars, but was not nearly as busy as this location usually is.
Upon checking the order, a hash brown was missed and they gave toys instead of books which was requested upon ordering. Once at home, I noticed that 2 of the 3 milks that were ordered expired today, they also didn't provide any butter and only the happy meals contained syrup. The bacon on the egg BLT bagel sandwich was small little pieces, not bacon strips. Everything other than the egg BLT bagel was also cold (egg BLT bagel sandwich was the last item to be prepared and packed). It's sad when the McDonald's inside the Walmart is more consistent than the standalone restaurant.
I spoke with an assistant manager regarding all of these issues and she asked me to return with the food and they'd prepare it again. I said no that I'm not waiting any longer and that we'll warm it up at home. I did request a refund, which they did honour. This is the only reason I gave this a...
   Read moreUsually good but I was just forced into food that I don't want and it was my last 20$....very disappointing as I have not been eating out very much recently due to depression and inflation..so I'll probably just give this to one of my coworkers and wait 4 hours until I'm finally off work to drive home and eat some toast because I will be too hungry to eat anything more..it's like I wanted one cheeseburger and one mcdouble meal with some add ons and I get where the confusion set in but now there's add ons on both and the things I wanted off are still on there and I can't eat either because I just had dental work done..oh yea AND the frys were going to be my savings grace but nope the tips of the only ones I put in my mouth were still frozen while driving away from the drive through....it literally wasn't even that busy. The kicker however, the manager that was working was doing a phenomenal job and he is over worked! Hire more staff or something and give that man a raise! He has devoted his time and energy to your company. Anyway there is loads more to say but I have to get back to work myself.(update my coworker says "best burger I have ever had"...
