McDonald's — Restaurant in Fort Saskatchewan

Just great. Love this place. What can you say about McDonald’s? Extra large coffee for a buck seventy-five plus tax? And if there is anything in this world that can beat a sausage and egg McMuffin in terms of flavour value for money spent then I haven’t encountered it yet. Just yum, nummy yummy yummy!

However, there is one small thing I am curious about in regard to the burgers. I usually get the McMuffy, like I mentioned earlier because it’s so McYummy. But sometimes I do get a regular burger and they are typically 40% bun and patty and lettuce or whatever, and 60% sauce? Don’t get me wrong, that’s a good value proposition when you’re getting three days of calories in Big Mac sauce for the price of one meal. But my hands always end up looking like I dipped them in a bucket of sauce throughout the eating process. I instantly make every napkin they put in the bag just drenched and my hands still look like I’m finger painting and I gotta… like, lick the sauce off myself like an animal. I literally had to drink the last burger I ordered here. No joke, when I’m done eating my hands are all pruny like I just spent the whole day in a hot tub. I read the other reviews and a lot of people complain about dry burgers so I wonder if they’re trying to compensate for that? If so they maybe might have gone too far in the other direction?

But great place! Love it here. Never gonna stop...

I visited your location today and ordered a kids meal for takeout. Naturally, my daughter was excited about the toy that usually comes with it. However, when we got home, we discovered there was no toy in the box. I called the store to explain the situation, but unfortunately, the person who answered was dismissive and unhelpful. She immediately told me she wasn’t there 20 minutes ago (when we were), cutting me off before I could even explain the issue. There was no apology, no effort to understand or resolve the problem, and no basic customer service courtesy—like asking for a receipt number to verify the transaction. I wasn’t upset when I called; I just expected a kind, professional response. Instead, she hung up on me after I said “never mind.” It was disappointing, especially because we’re regular customers and my kids love your place. I rarely complain, but I felt I had to make an exception this time coz my daughter was in tears when she didn’t find the toy.

I’m not asking for a call back or any compensation. I’m simply writing to let you know how poorly this situation was handled. It’s unfortunate, and I hope it’s addressed so other customers don’t...

The food was fine, in fact, my cheeseburger was relatively centered. But that’s the only thing that I can say. The Fort Saskatchewan McDonald’s Walmart is dirty, there is never any ice in the soda machine, for a simple double cheeseburger combo, it took 25 minutes. And there was nobody there, there was only about three people in front of me. management seriously Hass to step in and take a look at this McDonald’s. If I was the manager, I would seriously think about rehiring everybody. Nobody was friendly, everybody looked like they wanted to go home, everybody wasn’t properly wearing their hair nets, Making themselves look good, the hairnets were pulled well below the four head which just looked strange, I don’t know, it just looked like nobody wanted to work there, and everybody was just doing the minimal amount to get by.
