Best Of Stone Baked Pizzeria Fort St. John — Restaurant in Fort St. John

I had never had a donair in my life up until about 2 years ago. A friend finally convinced me to give it a try. We went to a different donair joint in town - NOT Stone Baked. I was unimpressed to say the least. I had no interest in trying donair again.

A few months later my work catered a small luncheon. The vote was for donair and I wasn't excited. BUT when the food arrived and I took my first bite, my view on donair changed for good. Needless to say, it was from Stone Baked and this is hands down, the BEST donair in town. The fries are good too.

I am almost ashamed to say that I tried a third donair place in town, just because it was closer to my place of work. But again, it wasn't the same flavor or quality as Stone Baked. If I get donair, it will only be from Stone Baked.

The service has always been on point. Ali (spelling?) is super friendly and always smiling - the complete opposite of the service I received from the first joint I tried. On a rare occasion I have had to wait an extra 5 minutes for my food, but when you order during lunch or dinner rush, what do you expect. Definitely worth the wait. Only an impatient prude would complain about having to wait. If your time is more valuable than everyone else's, order sooner.

Also, my kids look forward to ice cream...

I VOTE THE BEST DONAIR IN THE PEACE REGION!! This place is by far the closest thing to an authentic east coast donair and a value unsurpassed by their close competitor in FSJ that I can find in BC. Dont get me wrong... the ABC donair place or whatever it it called has a decent product for a modest price, but these guys are better and way bigger. Order a jumbo donair with lettuce tomatoes and onion and extra sweet sauce and I promise you itll be a 2 or 3 part meal and itll blow your mind. They even deliver to Taylor for a modest 15 buck fee. I would strongly recommend ordering pickup if at all possible as my first couple experiences with this place and their delivery left little to be desired but they have improved somewhat in the last year or so however I prefer to speak to my knowledge and not my hopes. Read my other reviews on other restaurants all over the map. I rarely give a great review like this and I cant be bought so when I say eat here I mean it. Order pickup and you wont be sorry. Order delivery and it's still better than any other...

Disappointing at best.

Luckily it’s a 2 for 1 deal, but individually, each is priced at an outrageous $45!

We had the worst experience. The delivery driver went to the wrong address, called and left 5 voicemails….The pizzas were on the wrong crust, one had the wrong sauce, and ingredients were cheap and processed (and some listed ones clearly not on them), as well as being barely warm when they finally arrived. When we asked for a discount, the manager told us he made them himself and we were wrong because he made them. Then stated he was already making us new ones after we had already said we didn’t want more pizza, just a discount on our order. They eventually gave us a refund on our entire order, as needless to say, we weren’t happy. For lower quality than dominoes and to be told we were wrong about all the issues, we will not be ordering from there again, let alone recommending to...
