Subway, but for American Mexican food. Nothing really jumps out, more flavourful than the others. However, there's not much to complain about either, especially when you consider that it's a chain restaurant. The main criticism I would have is the same one I have for all the local takes on Mexican food, lack of or similarity of flavours. This being the group's first time here, I went all out when ordering takeaway. 12 tacos, 1 burrito and a deep fried cheesecake. For the tacos, we got two of each protein and for the burrito, it was the surf n turf. I love how they use both soft and hard shell on the same taco as the juices from the meats and sauces can go through just the hard shells sometimes, especially when you have a lot of food. All the sauces were pretty great, but again, they all had similar flavour profiles. The Carolina Reaper sauce was great. It's nice seeing more restaurants in the area have really spicy offerings. My favourite was the candy blueberry though, just be prepared for it to be sweet as advertised. Due to the size of the shrimp, that taco isn't as packed as some others like the chicken. My favourite protein I think was between the pork and steak. The fish is deep fried and crispy and so are the shrimp. The beef is fairly standard. To make it easier for the two-person crew on staff today, I just had them use all the topping except cilantro which also helped us judge the various options. At the end of the day, I think my favourite was the burrito, but because they fry it on all sides and I had them use the sweet salsa. It's just a nice, jam-packed wrap. I've only recently been introduced to these Jarritos sodas and they are fantastic. Not packed synthetic flavours, it's natural flavours are more muted than local offerings. So far, I've had the cola, guava and pineapple. We had the pineapple and guava this time. My favourite is the guava. Overall, nobody was disappointed with any of the dishes and the veggies were very fresh and as someone who rarely eats enough, options like these are always welcome. Finally, the staff were very impressive. With only two of them, they were able to not just keep track of my big and complicated order, they were able to delegate tasks so well that they were able to make other peoples' orders at the same time.

Taco Boyz is my go-to for delicious, fresh Mexican eats. Their burritos are always loaded with fresh, flavorful ingredients, the tacos are simple but so good. Quesadillas, nachos, and chimichangas are absolute must-tries whenever you visit Taco Boyz. And, of course, a Jarritos Mexican soda on the side makes it even better. The staff are absolutely amazing, they are friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. If you want to add more food, don’t hesitate to let them know! With great prices and a diverse menu, of course, I’ll be coming back many more times and recommending it to my friends! <3

We ordered take-out and it was very fast and so delicious!!!! Tried the pocket taco with just classic ingredients and it was so yummy. Also took the 3 soft shell tacos with birria, they have a blueberry sauce that is so good. I was skeptical at first but then when I tasted it wow! I cant wait to visit NB again just to come eat here again.

The food is good. I wouldn't consider it real Mexican. I get that I live in Atlantic Canada and real Mexican is impossible to find. I consider it American -Mexican. The pork carnitas has great flavour.

My issue is with cost, especially for delivery. I'm willing to pay for delivery, it's a convenience. However, I live on the north side and have to order from the Smythe St store. I ordered a regular burrito and two churros. $27, added $3 tip for driver. They call Door Dash to deliver which is $9.99 and don't give the driver the tip. I only had a $5 bill to tip the driver. So that burrito and churros cost me $44.99. My food should have come from Mexico for that price.

I will eat there again but never order...

worst place to order food from in fredericton. ordered over $70 worth of food and every single thing is messed up. two large burritos, only one of which was actually a large, but it was filled with things we didn’t order. got a regular burrito bowl and it was so small it literally looks like someone ate half of it before they packed up the order. not one thing i paid $70 for was correct except the water bottles (which are outrageously overpriced; $4 for a water bottle half the size of the ones you get for $0.50 at costco.) will never go to any taco boys location again and i hope you do the same! bar burritos prices are similar and you actually get what you...
