Kings Tavern — Restaurant in Georgina

After waiting an hour and a half for food our order came out and a chicken sandwhich was served with spicy mayo after being ordered without due to a food allergy. We asked the waitress if it was possible to be corrected we were told we would be brought regular mayo to cover the taste. We apologized and said unfortunately it’s a food allergy. The waitress said she would look into it and left for 30 minutes without telling us what the situation was until I had to call on her to ask what was happening with the order. She said she placed the order and it would be out soon, the rest of us were done eating now. She told us she would bring it to go. Refills on drinks were also forgotten after ordering but they were busy and we only asked once without reminding.

I complained that the sandwhich cant even be eaten with the family now as it took so long is there anything that can be done? A 30% discount was added to the sandwhich. At this point I asked for a manager who asked me what was wrong he had already discounted the sandwhich 30%. I told him I don’t want the sandwhich and was disappointed with the service. He then asked what I’d like to be done about it and I said not pay for meal in question. He then acted as if my dissatisfaction was unwarranted and brought me a new bill with the sandwhich deducted but still charged us for the side (which yes had been eaten).

This is some of the worst customer service I have ever had in a restaurant. I hate complaining and so did the party I was with but in this case it felt warranted and fair. Very disappointed by the management, I don’t expect meals to be free and understand costs associated but a little less penny pinching would have convinced us to come back for some drinks and another meal. At this point I will not be back, unfortunate since we had heard such positive things...

We got to know each other over cold beer on several occasions. It was was lust that turned to love. The kind of love that had me defending your honor at all costs, taking a bullet to the chest for you, and leave me feeling guilty if I ever ate at another restaurant.

Your Bombay butter chicken is a sight for sore eyes, with rice that is cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned Thai sauce that would knock the boots off a sticky cowboy. There are more gems though... The seafood platter, beef stuffed yorkshire, and grand slam burger, just to name a few. Your food artists seem to use the highest-quality ingredients. You must stand proud.

Kings Tavern, you've got so much going for you. $1 wing special on Wednesday's bring me to my knees while your fajita special on Saturday's desperately drops my jaw.

Service has been beyond impressive. Especially lately with having much change over the last couple months. The girls are beautiful and sweet, and their relatable passion for the restaurant surely doesn't go unnoticed.
