Rice & Noodle — Restaurant in Georgina

I went to keswick to visit a friend and we got hungry so they ordered food. I’m from Toronto, so I’m used to eating a lot of different cuisines, but I have to say, for a take out Chinese restaurant, their quality is on par with those dine in restaurants that charge at least double the price for food. I learned that in Chinese cuisine, there is this special way of making the food super good and addictive with a smoky type aroma and flavour. It’s super rare for take out restaurants to have anything REMOTELY CLOSE to this flavour but it’s insane that their dishes have it!! Even the fried rice!!! It seems so simple but it’s not! It takes a LOT of skill to create that flavour, and I find myself craving their food and struggling to find something similar even in Toronto, especially for this price point. My friend and I were discussing this and they mentioned that none of the other restaurants in the area have this, and maybe I’m biased because this was the first restaurant I tried in the area, but there’s no way I’m going to bother trying the other places lol.

One tip that my friend mentioned though was that their wait times tend to be long because it’s a mom and pop type shop, so be sure to call ahead!! But it’s SO WORTH THE...

I've tried a few of the Chinese restaurants in the area and hands down none of them conpare to Rice & Noodle!

Service is always prompt and friendly, prices are fair considering the portions given (lots to spare for leftovers), the food is always made fresh, is as authentic as it comes and IS SO TASTY!!!

They know my Girlfriend & I by our names, recognize my voice when I call EVERY TIME. They ALWAYS give an accurate time frame, even calling if its going to be ready sooner than expected!

We also witnessed, in full, while waiting - two VERY RUDE CUSTOMERS walk in, who were told it was extremely busy for a Sunday night at 7pm, and told their order would take at least an hour...the couple, who were easily in their late 50's started completely losing their cool with the female owner, acting as if they weren't told about the wait. The couple proceeded to make a scene, trying to involve the rest of us waiting for our orders...they demanded their money back, calling the owner every name in the book, while making unneeded derogatory commentens... the left yelling they would be leaving a VERY BAD REVIEW.

MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE POOR OWNER & STAFF. YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO BE TREATED THIS WAY!!!

What is wrong with people...

Absolutely my FAVOURITE place! I live in aurora and I drive there once to twice a week just to pick up food! The staff are super friendly and always so helpful!! The food is so good, I'm obsessed. The shanghai noodles I can't find anywhere else with the same taste and flavour, and their chicken wings are to die for! They've ruined me to the point I can't go anywhere else for wings!! Their chili chicken and general tao chicken are my guilty pleasures because it's usually late night snacks!! and I can't believe I haven't tried wonton soup until last month. I get it everytime now because after eating all that spicy chicken it's nice to have a sip of the soup and it feels sooo good. I'm so thankful they stayed open amidst the pandemic because I would be lost...
