Connected Coffee — Restaurant in Goffs

Looked around for a way to provide feedback without review but no obvious contact info online.

Great decor and great expensive equipment. Service wasn’t friendly but the girl was completely alone.

She did not have enough grinds in her portafilter and i ended getting an acidic short shot. Expensive equipment does not replace a skilled barista.

As a coffee shop operator I see some major problems here that will hamper this business from succeeding. I am providing this feedback because I would like it to stay in operation in the long term.

Panini press is too small Paninis should be microwaves 30-60 seconds before grilling and grill 60 seconds. This ensures heat throughout and a fast service. My panini was on press multiple minutes and inside was cold. Ingredients are of high quality. Breakfast panini option is too large and too expensive.

There should be at least some basic flavour shots available like vanilla.

The flow of customers was well designed for high traffic. The flow of production in the back needs work. Paninis will be a bottleneck.

Increase your staff coverage. Especially when you are still making first impressions... bite the bullet and spend the labour...

Ridiculous service. The person taking order was the rudest person ever. First placed a regular hot coffee when the order was for a cold one. Didn’t even bother saying it’s here. And just emptied it back in the coffee machine. The lady after me was so sweet. She also felt something was wrong and asked the barista, “ why aren’t you serving my friend?” And that is when the barista asked what my order was. Served me hot one again, and when said it was the cold one, tossed some ice in a cup and coffee. Haven’t had such an outrageous experience before. If they don’t feel like serving with care and a smile why even bother. Would never recommend....

Never coming back again. I rather starve on a plane than pay $17 for this limp veggie wrap. No amount of vegetables will cost half that much. The wrap was moisture ladened and felt messy. The cheese added some elegance but not worth the price. And why did i still pay for it? They didn’t have the item in the menu but how expensive can wraps be? I expect maybe $12 at most given it costs a few bucks worth of ingredients.

If you want to eat something before boarding, then Timmies (I can’t believe I am even recommending them) is at least...
