Was at subway in Halifax airport. The manager is absolutely abusing the poor new hire that he's supposed to be training. He's absolutely terrible to her. He was rude to me when I was attempting to pay and corrected him on an overcharge. And when I told him she doesn't deserve to be talked to like that he threatened to call security on me after interrupting and yelling at me to stop lying. I asked for his name so I could take it up with head office. He refused to provide it. But he says he owns the place and I can speak to "terry oxford". Refuses to give his name because he knows he was acting completely incredibly rude. No one deserves to come to a minimum wage job to try to pay for school or rent or the bills to be abused day in and day out. Manager needs sensitivity and management training. He was really great with the male employee that came in. Chatting and laughing. Other patrons came up to me after to say they've seen how awful he was acting as well. Several said he ignored them as they talked and escalated when they tried to get his attention. Yiiikkkees on several bikes....

The man working behind the counter was direct and efficient — not overly chatty, but focused on getting the order right and getting me fed fast. Honestly, after a long day of travel, I appreciated that kind of service.

Read moreI was staying at the attached hotel so decided to get a wrap from subway for dinner. The young lady started to put cold chicken on the wrap. I had to tell her to heat it up first. That should have been my first clue. I only had her put on a couple veggies. When she started to wrap it, it all feel out and she scooped it up to put it back in. After several attempts to wrap it with me staring at her thinking "what are you doing" she turned around to put it in the press. I took it up to my hotel room to eat and the whole wrap fall apart and all over me the second I took it out of the bag. I ended up eating the chicken and the tomatoes while throwing all the mush and the actual wrap out. My dinner consisted of chips and my drink. This experience has thrown me off...
