Fine Company Gastropub — Restaurant in Goffs

What a great surprise! Decided to meet family for a meal while we had an overlap in flight schedules. Fine Company was beyond fine; they were excellent! Especially nice was that the friendly waitress was so well versed in their gluten free options and there were multiple options. (Cross contamination isn't a problem for me.) For my GF lunch, I chose a well seasoned piece of grilled fish with kettle chips. It was great! Others got the battered fish with tater wedges, reuben sandwich, lobster roll and chowder. We all enjoyed it so much that we hope to include it in our next airport run. The lobster sandwich was very good, the only suggestion that we could possibly offer to improve it was a side dish of melted butter to pour over it before eating it. Everyone was trying my sister's chowder. The portion was large, and she hoped for leftovers but we kept helping ourselves. It had whole mussels in it!! Got the lobster roll with pub fries and a locally brewed beer. My goodness! The lobster roll was delicious. Soft and flavourful lobster, dressed really well, generous quantity of lobster chunks on a soft roll. Very tasty. But I have to say...those pub fries were the best fries I have ever eaten in my life! The potatoes were crunchy on the outside, soft inside, absolutely piping hot, and perfectly seasoned. The beer was cold and delicious. Service was very quick and friendly. Most restaurants in airports are pretty terrible because they have a captive audience. This was really good! We had the fish and chips and also the turkey avocado club.
