OMG this place. Such a relief to have a home-cooked meal when travelling. Many places claim to have “home-cooked” meals, but they lack the warmth and the freshness associated with how you would make it at home. On top of that, Jita is one of the sweetest humans you ever hope to meet! This has become a regular stop on our long ventures. Coffee is always fresh, we had the Jita’s Burrita, which is a three egg breakfast burrito. Perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. My espresso tasted sour and the barista said "what can I get for you" when we walked in... I've never been here before and a proper greeting would have been nice. We were then told by the barista behind the counter that she had made our drinks incorrectly. No apology or offer to remake our drinks instead her remedy was to offer more chocolate sauce. The food was all fresh, healthy, and affordable, which is very refreshing to find on a road trip. Lovely unique atmosphere inside and there is also a small area of picnic tables outdoors as well.
