Being Vegan I always stop at Subway as they customize their sandwiches, however I was disappointed to see how the server at the counter pushed my sandwich away to the next server just because I was not ordering meat, she was eager to serve the next 2 young customers, the next server that was refilling the containers with the ingredients had dirty gloves and was handling cheese and meat than switched to my sandwich only to touch it and move it away again to serve the next customer again. I had to ask my last server to add more spinach as I felt I was going to eat only bread since she was not generous as the other server with the meat eater customer. There was a long line up and all those customer were served using the same gloves that were suppose to be used only once. They were philty from touching food and none of them ever changed them for the time I was there. I was in food businnes myself until 3 years ago and I still remember very well all the rules in handling food. Also they had the coffee maker broken. I will never stop at this Subway again. This was so far a negative experience. I still like to go to Subway as my previous experiences were great and I travel a lot, last week I traveled to California and I stopped at many Subway along the N 5 coming back to Canada and i was so glad to be able to rely on them for lunch and dinner on my trip. Please do the right steps to assure your businnes is running properly and customers are...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this Subway. The store hours are listed until 11 PM, but when I went after 10 PM, the Indian Punjabi lady at the counter was clearly not welcoming. She had already cleaned up everything well before closing time and seemed unhappy to serve customers, even though there was still 1 to 1.5 hours left before closing.
What made the experience worse was that she lied about Subway’s grilling policy. She refused to grill my sub and claimed Subway had a “new policy” not to use the grill machine. This is completely false – I’ve had grilled subs at other Subway locations just days before, and again later as well. There is no such policy, and it felt like an excuse to avoid doing her job.
If the restaurant hours are posted until 11 PM, customers should be treated properly and served with the same quality and service at 10:15 PM as they would at 9 PM. Closing early, being unwelcoming, and making up rules just to avoid serving is unprofessional and...
Read moreUPDATE: everyone should know my partner refuses to eat black olives anymore to this day after the sandwich we got from here made him SO violently ill. We didn’t have anything else to eat the day we went here other than this subway’s subpar food.
Horrifically terrible service. Zero communication with customers other than belligerent yelling. We ended up spending $40 on two footlong meals and were so exhausted from driving we didn’t try to fight with the cashier as it was sheer pandemonium at the time (something about “all the power from Golden to Cranbrook going out” ????). They were also out of pickles ???? Like for absolutely no reason you can’t stock pickles ?? What an absolute joke of an experience. Also my partner has felt sick ever since we ate there and we haven’t had anything else all day so eat here at your...
