I order extremely often at Amira at Granby. While sometimes the person you get on the phone may get a bit difficult, most of the time they are just fine.
The waiting time between my call and the actual delivery isn't that long for me. But granted, I live at like 10 minute walk from the restaurant.
They have a great variety of salad, but sometimes you may get disappointed when wanting something and they say there isn't anymore of that choice. But I blame the fact that on these occasion I did called late after dinner. So that's on me.
And since they aren't sponsored by either Coca-cola or Pepsi-cola, they get the brand that is available. If there is no coke, it will be Pepsi and if there is no Pepsi, it will be coke. I personally do not mind either, but I know some people would hate that.
The restaurant itself is very spacious. Maybe a bit too much as I doubt they need all of it. But I honestly can say I never went it at a rush hour. So I can't really tell.
The menu is fine for it's kind of food, but for the Falafel, I was a bit disappointed. I made some researches before ordering it and though. Oh nice, sounds a great thing to have. Read moreFood it pretty good, I had shish taouk plate, 3 salads (tomato based pasta, taboulé, beets).
Taboulé had all the parsley stems & was a bit dry.
They have a sign on the salad bar window that says “a smile is free”. To test this model I smiled the entire time. To some disappointment, not one staff member smiled back. There’s actually a very uninviting feel to this place, but the food is good, so if you want a shish taouk with rice/potato and salad, it will fill the belly while sitting back and thinking about how cold customer service...
