Restaurant L'Ami Taouk — Restaurant in Granby

I had an experience that will ensure that I never eat at this place again.

Some context: I am a long time Lebanese food lover and a long time customer (well over 10 years) of this restaurant. I am very easy going normally.

But, over the weekend I had an experience that will ensure that I never eat at this place again.

I called to place a take-out order to start with, to save time because I was on a tight schedule. I was told that they don't do this since some people don't show up to claim their order. I was taken aback by this, but nevertheless, I decided to show up and place my order in person.

When I showed up, I placed my order (which had at least one modification to the regular serving) and was very surprised that it had only taken 1 minute to prepare. This means it was prepared in advance, which is very uncharacteristic of these types of restaurants.

I then confirmed my order modification with the attendant: "no turnips? " and she confirmed.

When I finally arrived at my destination 10 minutes later, with my meal, the sandwich was very soggy (more soggy than a 10 minute drive can justify) and the sandwich was littered with turnips. 3 strikes. And as if that wasn't enough, they cut the size of the garlic sauce given with potatoes by 2/3.

I'm thoroughly disappointed with this place and I will not be going there again.
