Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Grande Prairie

The days of dining in at Pizza Hut may have come and gone.which is fine. My only question is: why have the tables and chairs inside the establishment at all? Where’s the sense in that? You don’t want to promote the idea of customers dining in anymore? Figure it out and change your business model.

From the moment we ordered and mentioned we would like to dine in, the customer service shifted from pleasant to overwhelmingly rude and unwelcoming. When it eventually got served, the food remained decent and our area was clean, but that’s where the hospitality stopped.

Besides the clean space and hot food, the rest of the dine-in experience was incredibly uncomfortable and borderline awkward. There were dirty looks, snarky comments, and a strangely hostile vibe. It’s still a lot of money to eat here as a family, so we were just hoping to sit back, enjoy each others’ company and eat some tasty pie, so this was a major disappointed.

Like I said, I understand that Pizza Hut Grande Prairie has become more of a takeout/delivery restaurant and if that’s your thing, go for it. That being said, if you're going to have seats and a place to eat on-site, then show some class and professionalism and treat your paying customers with the same level of hospitality and respect you’d expect in return.

Shut it down and move it to a mobile joint or retrain your staff on the concept of feeding paying customers in-person.

Needless to say, I won’t be taking my friends or family to a Pizza Hut anytime soon. Trashy service for mediocre chain pizza. No thanks.

South side Pizza Hut is closed, and I called to place an order with this location, and they informed me they can’t “deliver” to my side of town ? Let’s remember we live in Grande Prairie it takes 20-30 minutes max to get anywhere in town this isn’t Edmonton. I would also like to address that if one of your locations is closed that you should be fully responsible to deliver the pizza anywhere, I have never even had Pizza Hut tell me in all my years they can’t deliver to me ?? Absolutely the worst experience here, there’s pizza companies who will deliver as far as clairmont but Pizza Hut can’t drive to Pinnacle lol. The girl over the phone also asked me for my phone number to search if I’m in the location boundary, excuse me ? How do you use my Ontario phone number to look up if you can deliver my pizza to pinnacle ? Didn’t even ask for an address. Ridiculous company...
