I ordered a Chai Tea Latte for my mom and asked for it to be half sweet. Unfortunately, she didn’t really like the drink—it didn’t taste like her usual. I tried it and noticed there was barely any milk in it.
I drove back to Starbucks to let them know and asked if it could be fixed. They simply added more syrup to the drink and asked if it was better. After tasting it, it was sweeter, but it still tasted watery.
I asked if they could remake it, and a barista (Kara?) asked what was wrong with the drink. I explained the issue. She gave me a plastic smile and said they would just make a new one. I offered to pay for it, since they were already giving me attitude, but was told it was okay.
While waiting, I could see them talking about something—which I know I shouldn’t assume was about us—but it happened right after the situation, so it felt a little off.
The reason we go to Starbucks is for the crafted drinks. It’s not just about coffee—it’s about getting a drink that’s made right, with care. If we're paying more, at least make it worth it.
I just hope that particular barista understands that even if they make hundreds of drinks a day, not every drink will turn out the same. And if a customer politely brings something up, they shouldn’t be made to feel like a burden. Especially when there’s a tip option at checkout—the least you can do is try.
And to be clear, I know there are amazing baristas at Starbucks. I’ve met many. This experience just reminded me that unfortunately, some people choose to carry an ugly attitude, and...
Read moreI think google has to create a -5 stars Here is my sad story with this location i've been a regular customer of Starbucks worldwide especially Nottingham London and I never see such a careless and bad coffee quality i experienced at this store. I've been a new-regular customer ,ordered like 10 times between delivery and walkin and all of them I have an issue. I took the time to write the review today because i fed up with their careless. -1stime i ordered at the store a macchiato(which is well known; expresso shots+foam) with no sugar and very less milk, but got a full cup of milk with coffee +caramel syrup despite i told to the cashier no sugar.Manager running the till was super rude to change my order even though it's her fault. -ordered by doordash 3 times Misto and I got the cup full of milk and tasteless, even though I called in advance the location which never ever picked up calls. pics below can describe my bad experience.I believe there's a real problem of customer care and how to pay attention to the...
Read moreSome people may be confused by the name and will ask "what in tarnation does STARBUCK have to do with coffee". As that was a character on the original series of Battlestar Galactica but trust me: this place has very little to do with science fiction. Unless you want to talk about the names of the drink sizes which I swear are PURE Star Trek. I mean, "venti"??? That's like, Klingon or something. Live long and prosper, am I right? So as a life long fan of science fiction and fantasy, I have to dock this place one star. Admittedly this would BE a good place to finish my manuscript (soon to be published on Amazon) but not a good place to EXPERIENCE it. And I feel bad doing that because the staff here are very friendly and the coffee isn't bad either, but as far as I'm concerned this is blatant false advertising and I sincerely hope this new local hot spot takes heed of my words. I would hate to see them sued out of existence by the family of Gene...
